Default Recommendations for a home safe?

Advertise Here

I'm looking for input and suggestions for a small home safe that I could keep in the closet of my apt.

I already own a gun safe but that lives at a friend's house in a more gun friendly state (I live in MA). I have a lockable, fire-resistant file box where I keep important papers but I can put that on my shoulder and walk away with little trouble and a couple blows from a hammer would have it open. Plus I question just how fire resistant it really is. I'm considering something a bit more stout and fire resistant. I started looking here but wanted to get some more feedback before buying something.

Brand names, model names, etc. that are nice units and reliable would be great!
