They haven't for as long as I've been going there. Don't go there much anymore because like everyone is saying, they don't have a very good selection... well basically nothing firearm/shooting related.

I am done with buying ammo in a store. Online is much better. They only exception is that I get a great deal on CCI standard velocity bricks at a sop locally, and cheapie trap shooting specials.

Go figure, when I get up to NY I can find better deals on ammo (like 30-06 M2 Match 172 grn.) than I can anywhere else...and in a State with most of the resrictions.

The one near me sure doesn't. Their sporting goods section is mostly bicycles, paintball and some fishing gear. I admit to being surprised at the paintball, considering it's a french owned company that won't even let the Toys for Tots people collect donations outside their store because they think they're related to the American military.

But on the other hand, there are a ton of awsome looking women who shop at Target. At least arround here. If I were single again, that would be the first place I would head.

Ah remember the good old days when you could walk in the Kmart and buy an SKS and some ammo?

K-mart stopped selling ammo after taking heat in "Bowling for Columbine."
Dunno about Target, but my brother drove out of his way last year to get some ammo there, and of course they don't sell it either. He says...
"How the hell does a place called Target not have any ammo?"

Bought my first SKS at Sports Authority got the "paratrooper" for $65. Spent about $110 on the gun and 1000 rounds.
