On the plus side it's good business for gunsmiths. My local smith has said business has been steadily on a decline because people go to youtube instead of paying a qualified armorer or smith to fix their firearms. He makes his money from people screwing up what they saw and attempted on youtube. I'm sure he makes money on other things but I see where he is coming from. old time gunsmiths did their research. Some even went to school for it. So it's not really a bad thing.
There is also the option of Full30.com. Where most of the youtube gun people have added their stuff.
Is there an alternative to YouTube that is not under the control of traitors? If there isn't hopefully there soon will be. Somebody with knowhow stands to make a lot of money.
This is part of a bigger effort to marginalize gun owners. Patriots should fight back against it in any way we can.

Well, back in the days before the internet was a big thing people set up bulletin boards from which you could download files. The same thing could be done nowadays too.
Why do. Librals always own the tech. Why arent there conservative sites like you tube, face book? And if there are. Why arent they promoting the hell out of them
This is just a casual observation but it seems that a lot of the hippies from the 60's went into journalism, or got phd' s and became professors in universities...hence, we are screwed.
The free market should handle the situation. Someone else can set up a YouTube like site that caters to gun enthusiasts (or at least doesn't discriminate against them).
This is, of course, unless the government steps in a passes a law banning these type of videos. But that's a whole other issue.
Years ago, I was banned from a forum for posting non malicious, accurate, truthful and irrefutable information.
I DESPISE censorship with every fiber of my being. I'm never the type to attack others. However, I have formed a well-reasoned set of morals and beliefs that are worth repeating.
Leftists insist on reducing (or eliminating) the capability of the citizenry to oppose authoritarianism. That's diabolical, period, end of story. Many simply can't understand why their method moves all power from the people to the government.
Folks, we need ideas. The leftist is chock-a-block full of ideas, and these ideas attain a life all their own. Facts are dead, nobody cares about facts. We need ideas!

If you believe in mythology, facts will not matter.
Ideas based on mythology will not help, either.
I've been urging people to go READ THE LAW for decades.
[crickets chirping]
First, I'm very Pro-2A. But I'm also a libertarian and pro-freedom. I don't think a business should be forced to violate its own principles as long as it's not discriminatory.
If a private company wants to deny service or hosting certain beliefs, provided it's not infringing on your rights, I'm okay with that. I can see the argument both ways on gun videos, and this might be a "******** only drinking fountain" situation. Or forcing a bakery to bake a gay wedding cake. It's a tough call, really. It will probably be fought out in court.
It sucks because I like Youtube and rely on them heavily for information. But another cite will come along and replace them. I see YT as making a very big mistake here and a move toward being replaced. Big companies and products DO fail.
There are other sites out there and gun vids are moving there.
As are conservative value sites. Those are being attacked and removed too.
What it DOES show is that YT and Google need to be smashed as being a monopoly in anti-trust suits by the DOJ. There are a few companies now that provide us with all our information that are far larger and more invasive than the RRs of the past and those were busted up for being monopolies.
Maybe this will be YT downfall. Or the start toward it?
Not good at all, I do get a lot of info watching those how to videos on taking apart unfamiliar firearms, or fixing or upgrading firearms. Heck i watched a ton of videos on reloading before I even bought my first press.
New to firearms or reloading people will not get all that valuable info, could be dangerous.
Are you serious?? Wow. As was already said.. I've used it to learn about many unfamiliar firearms. Take down, build, modify. This is bad. I'm going to cancel my youtube red subscription immediately and let them know why I did once I figure out how. Very very disappointing.
So everybody on youtube with a "how to" gun video should put that info somewhere else. However, will google allow you to search for it?
I believe Google owns youtube...****!
I know there are other search engines out there but come on.!
well, just did a search , played How to supress keltech sub2000, thru rollerbolt mod on HK 93, every thing i punched in played. when does this ban take effect?
It's not a one time ban. They're just working their way through conservative type channels and videos. Some get banned a little at a time. Suspended here and there several times and then one day they're just gone.
I heard about this today when I woke up and checked my news-feed. There was a link to a sight where apparently the gun gurus Youtube is trying to run off are headed. The sight is "Full30" at https://www.full30.com/ Note, I'm not endorsing that site as I only set up a membership to it (free, like with Youtube) but haven't done more than just basically poke around thereupon.
The problem we have is there are not enough people that realize what is happening. We need billionaires that are willing to fund/aid those of us that are willing to work to save our country. Soros, rockefellers, morgans, hollywierdo's just make up the slack when a business loses revenue because of political views.
BTW, I think we need to outlaw bombs here in Texas. They have hurt a bunch of folks. (SIGH) (Deep breath) Oh wait, bombs are already illegal. Hmmmm, what to do???
Who didn't see this coming? Its been speculated for several years they would do this. Might want to start downloading videos that you want so you can view them on your puter...
YouTube, Facebook and Twitter have all claimed protections under the Communications Decency Act of 1994, which protects them from liability if their users engage in criminal activity while using their sites.
Any company that claims to be covered under the CDA is called a "neutral public forum". YouTube, Facebook and Twitter have taken the label of NPF. According to the CDA, a NPF is not allowed to engage in political censorship. Attorneys for all three testified to congress (Ted Cruz specifically) that they claimed CDA protection. He notified them at that time that they were not allowed to engage in political censorship.
Just sent this with some edits to my congressman and senators. Not sure what they can do but man stuff like this makes me angry, then sad and ultimately depressed. I have hope but everyday it seems to take a hit.
Bitchute is a liberty-based alternative to YouTube that is gaining a lot of traction.
Gab.ai is a great alternative to Twitter and a great way to engage with people who care about freedom from censorship of ideas. Over 400,000 members and counting while Facebook is crashing and burning.
Look for me at Gab.ai. If you happen to use your same username as SB, I'll find you.
And a lot of other reddit communities too. I'm surprised this isn't bigger news. Either we have free speech or we don't. This extreme political climate is having too many unintended consequences. Pretty soon no one will be able to say anything online.
