Thumbs up Saw some East Texas Whitetail Deer this morning

This morning was just about perfect - not too cold, mild winds and some East Texas Whitetail Deer.

In all, I saw 6 deer. About 6:30 am 2 came out, then went back into the woods. Around 7:45 4 came out. Three of them stayed around the feeder while one went back into the woods.

Where in East Texas?

By the way, this is one of the best forums I have found on so many topics. The crowd seems more mature than most. People arguing/debating about religion and war and gear and just about everything using great knowledge, sarcasm and humor.

Was curious. I visit and hunt with a friend above Paris, TX every year. Some great woodlands in E. Texas. It would seem that every critter that walks has a bite to it though. Got a spider bite between my shoulder blades last visit.

And just about every plant has thorns or makes you itch too!

Nice video, never hunted down that way, what they average in weight? I'm from the north part of the country and our whitetail get pretty good sized (still smaller than our muley's). This video shows some of the best part of hunting, just watching the animals and being outdoors. Of course being a bow meat hunter I would have been tempted to drop the string on that biggest doe. Doelicious!

Great video, and yes, this is a great site! Just don't let the "anti-baiters" see this thread.

Gotta love deer hunting, here in my AO deer are thick as fleas on a blood hound.

Mostly domestic and alot of exotics.

Im considering using a bow here in the near future.

Alot of these deers eat corn from your hand.

All I have to do is open my back bedroom window.
