Default here is how to MAKE your own colloidal silver generator

found this website on how to make your own colloidal silver and thought some ppl may find it interesting

How to make your own Silver Colloid Generator.

While it has been discovered that 30 volts is the ideal for
Silver Colloid production, 27 volts is very effective and
happens to be the convenient result of wiring three 9-volt
batteries together.

Therefore,
you'll need three 9-volt transistor radio batteries,
three battery snap-on lead connectors,
2 insulated alligator clips,
1 "grain-of-wheat" 24 volt 40 mA sub miniature
incandescent bulb,
a foot of 3/32" heat-shrink insulation tubing,
a foot of 2-conductor stranded insulated wire
for clip-leads,
a small box to put it all in, and
10" of pure silver wire (.999 fine).

This should cost under $30.00 for everything. Assuming some
skill with a soldering iron, you should spend about thirty
minutes constructing the generator.

Solder your three snap-on battery clips in series (red to
black) to provide 27 volts. Connect a 24V incandescent lamp
in series with either positive or negative output lead.

Solder the red insulated alligator clip to the positive (anode)
and the black insulated clip to the negative (cathode)
2-conductor lead wires. Insulation is shrunk over soldered
connections using a heat gun or hair dryer.

Cut your 10" of silver wire in half. Bend top ends of your
two 5" silver electrode wires so they can clip over the top rim
of a plastic or glass cup (not metal).

About 4" of each wire should be submerged.

WARNING! Use ONLY pure silver (.999 fine) electrodes. #14 gauge
is the preferred thickness. Pure silver is sometimes available
at electroplating supply companies. Or, inquire at a jewelry
store specializing in silver about who their wholesale supplier
is.

Do not use sterling silver (.9275) since sterling contains
copper and nickel.

NICKEL CAN BE TOXIC. (With this in mind, you may want to have
a chemical analysis (assay) of your purchased silver in addition
to the written word of your supplier.)

If the Silver Colloid is to be ingested or injected, be sure to
use distilled water. Tap water is fine for other uses, such as
for a topical spray or for plants. Also, before beginning to
make your Colloidal Silver you will need to make a saline
solution for enhancing conductivity.

**************************************************
NOTE: Two points of interest since this file was posted;

1) DO NOT USE SALT - just use distilled water
2) An ingot of silver cut in half works better than wire

There is an easier, neater way. Radio Shack sells the small plastic boxes with a screw on lid. Buy two coax connectors. Drill two holes in the box and attach the connecters. 14 ga wire fits these. Wire up the 3 9V batteries inside the box to the connectors. There is a picture of one like mine on this site. With the black plastic box.

And you also need the TDS 1 PPM tester.

how much does the one at radio shack cost? it sounds like the way to go thanx
that one you linked wants $100 for theirs, seem a bit high for such a simple device

do you know the easist way to get the silver wire?

No. Radio shack just sells the stuff to make it. Minus the silver wire. They sell the box for around 5.00 or less. And the coax connecters and the batteries. You can order the 14 ga wire and the tester online. I used to buy the wire from Sunstone Herbals but now they only sell the 4" ones. They do sell the testers though. I like the 6" wires because you can make a whole quart mason jar. Two years ago I bought a 3' roll of wire. I'm glad I did. It's gone way up. But a friend talked me into selling him some. What a dummy I am.

LOL Yeah but I am a neat freak. I like everything all packaged up nice. And I forgot about the distilled water. If anyone wants to make some they have to make sure it's distilled. And mine usually takes 45 minutes to an hour because I make the quart jars. I could never get an agreement on how many ppm we should do. Most of my friends agree on 7ppm. I usually let it go to 9.

Here is a place to get the wire. I would buy it by the foot. It's cheaper. After three years my 6" ones are getting pretty thin.

Geesh. When I first bought my kit I got the generator, the tester, two 6" wires and 3 extra feet of wire for 85.00. I couldn't believe how much everything has gone up.

I have this in my favorites file. It explains pretty much what you need to know about cs.

Thanks for the link. Very informative. I planted tobacco seeds last year in little pots. They were growing good. Got to be about 2" high and then cats ate them. Grrr... Another lesson learned. I havn't finished the rest of the topics but will get to it.

Here's a picture of mine, have used it for years, I didn't see any pictures in the links. These are very easy to make.

If i was gonna buy a generator, what would be the best one on the market then?
