Default Hog hunting with dogs

Do we have any hog hunters here? My step son had a few hog dogs last summer, but he sold all of them.

This video was filmed in the summer of 2008.

I had one guy post a comment on this video at youtube.

You dont lock 3 dogs in a tiny metal box!!What the hell is wrong with you guys? Its just not right!
My reply was

I guess you have never transported hunting dogs? Its either have them in a box, or they will jump out of the truck while your driving down the road. When that happens the dog will usually break its leg, back, neck or crack its skull. The dogs are in the boxes for their own safety.
Besides all of that, hogs are a good source of free meat.

Kev videos like this one make me feel home sick. Being a north east Texas boy stuck in Yankee land it it noce when you post these videos from back home where they talk right and dont worry about political correctness. Thanks for the view of home hope you continue showing this type video.
By the way I used trap hogs and have a lot of friends that hunt them with dogs. We never could keep the numbers of hogs down enough to please me they are really destructive.
Thanks again for the view of home

I go in my favorite sister state of Texas but we do not use dogs no need. We have them here but fewer and farther in between. The only problem with wild hogs is their is no bacon. But they are great eating

I want to go hog hunting so badly. I am in VA so I am researching where I can go for free to hunt those pigs.

I've seen hog dogs in action and it's cool

Just in case we got some PETA people worried about the poor little hogs, this is what they did to some of our pastrures the other night. It looks like crop circles all over one section
