Default SKS and AK sight the same parts?

I am looking into putting a night sight made for an AK on my SKS.

Does the pin and threaded front sight interchange between the SKS and the AK?

Pretty much, yes. The post is the same diameter and thread pitch, but very long posts may not allow enough elevation adjustments, depending on the brand of the aftermarket tritium sight. I have no idea whether the windage drum that the post fits into is interchaneable from the AK to the SKS, so "buyer beware" if you purchase a front night sight made for the AK that requires you to swap out the drum as well as the post...

FWIW, most of my AKs have been fit with an Ameriglo front tritium sight post.
