Default St. John's Wort-How to process?

Advertise Here

I'm on my second year of growing St. John's wort and it is growing very well. I know this can be processed and consumed (herbal anti-depressant/mood enhancer). Can someone tell me when and how to process this, or if it is even worth it?

After buying all the equipment, supplies, and books on what to process (leaves? roots? stems? flowers? seeds?) and how, it's probably cheaper to buy St. John's Wort in the store.

In that case then what's the point of doing anything yourself?

All the info you could possibly want is free on the interwebs.'s_wort

Just Google away! :-D

I love this herb but you cant use it in tea & they say its awkward to refine- so it might be as well to buy it in..
