Hi All
I just picked up a molle 2 vest with no pouches. I have an sks and i intend on using stripper clips not magazines. Does anyone know which molle pouches will fit stripper clips. Does anybody use the molle system for the sks?

Why are you intent on it being MOLLE compatible? Could you use a "possibles" type bag or do you want to be able to hook it up to your vest/rig and go?

My concern is that when you're face down in the mud, trying to re-load that SKS...your ammo pouches are going to be under your body, and not on your side...which will be more easily accessible.

I just checked out my SAW mag pouch (I use them for G3 mags) looks like it should fit 8-10 strippers in there.

It looks like this one.

Ok yeah ive seen those saw pouchs at a local surp store they do look like they would hold alot. Well im not hell bent on using the molle system i dont know a whole lot about LBE's yet and i seen a plain molle vest at a local surp store so i got it for cheap. What other systems work good im looking for somthing i could throw on quick, load up and go. Somthing with plenty of ammo pouchs for my sks and maybe some sort of butt pack for supplies. Any suggestions?

Ya need to get a real SKS chest rig:

OD Green canvas chest rig used to carry all your SKS accessories and ammo. Features six accessory pockets with quick-access closures, four stick grenade pouches, straps and tie downs for extra gear, adjustable shoulder straps and belt that fits up to a 54" waist. Current production, imported
I recommend the first one. They work great and are very practical
