Default red dot sight for AK-47

Advertise Here

I am looking to add a red dot sight to my AK, for fast closer range engagements. The standard sights suck for this, any recommendations? Also, a recommendation for a receiver cover with a rail would be nice as well.

EoTech 512 or Bushnell Holosight for a cheaper alternative.

Nothing wrong with optics Kahn!

I would suggest a Kobra to be accurate but they are all sold-out indefinitely.

Heh, the pic is amusing, and I am not for extra stuff on rifles, but you have to admit, the AK sights are worthless for quick engagement. If I put something on a rifle it needs to serve a purpose, or I would spend the money on ammo.

Kobra is good but PK-AS is best in terms of Com-Block red dots....

I'd go for an ironsight upgrade like the mojo peepsight, if your batteries die you cant exactly aim anymore with a red-dot.

True and a good idea. Personally I took a dremel and widened the notch in my rear sight. Then I painted the sights with Hi Viz paint.

I also carry extra batteries in the grip.
