Default My first camelbak - The Raider

Its ok to be jealous, really it is.

I happened to have caught a Camelbak Raider on sale for 1/2 price. And it was the last one the store had.

They come in handy, I use mine for everything. I have the 1st one that they offered I think it is 60oz then I bought the hawg 100oz. I can carry both bladders in the hawg.Yours looks big enough for 2 bladders as well. It was nice to have when I went on long ATV rides especially in the sand dunes. I noticed in the pictures that yours has a different bite valve than mine with a cover. I may need to upgrade again as that cover would probaly keep water from leaking all over you. Glad you got a deal.

Yep, jealous. I bought a camelbak a few years ago, but it has no storage pockets at all. :-(

i just bought the MSR (mtn saftey research) hydromedary water bladder to put in my pack. and i gotta say that the bladder is top notch. without even cleaning it, there is no trace of anything tainting the water. tastes like im drinking out of a clean glass. the bite valve is better than any bite valve i have used. ive used a total of 3 different types including the msr one. the bladder its self isnt made outa the same rubber material that normal bladders are made out of. instead its made out of a durable kevlar like material thats more durable than any other bladder on the market.

We got bladders of "Source" company, this label is Israeli but they do great hydration packs and sandals that make any hiking shoe blush, check it out, i am sure they export their goods to the US too.

They also make some great backpacks but I believe only for military use, the best i used anyway.

BTW, they MSR bladders are great too...
