Thanks for posting this. I've had one of these for a while and have found it to be one of the more accurate AK's. It's surprisingly comfortable for an steel underfolder stock and they're becoming more difficult to find. Amazingly, this little fella sold for $395 in 1989 and now commands nearly three times that for one in 60% condition....

Amazing

So curious about this rifle, and thanks for this post, I'm sure this download will be very helpful!
I googled Norinco Ak47 5.56 and this came up as one of the top searches!

Thank you!

You can buy 30 round Polymer/plastic mags from K-Var in Nevada, if I remember correctly they are 29.00$ don't know about the quality or fit , I only have the 3, 30 round steel mags that came with the rifle . When I bought this rifle in 1988 , $129.00 out the door, last time i checked gunbroker someone was trying to get 1300.00 $ for one. , crazy .

I own one as well, it's a very accurate AK. I have two factory steel mags and two polymer mags for it currently. I use the ProMag magazines and have had no feed issues with them.

The Ak and it derivatives come in a wide variety of calibers.

7.62x39/x54/x25/x51, .30-06, 5.56x45, 5.45x39, 7.92x57, 9x39/x18/x19 .410ga, .20ga, .12ga, .22lr

That list is just of calibers that the AK pattern rifle has been manufactured in on large scale. there are other calibers that it has been made in by Custom and DIY builders.

I thank you also. I had one of these years ago and traded it for an original Colt Model R6500 AR-15 A2. I just bought one tonight and it doesn't have a manual.

Thanks again,

DLR
