Anyone else watch the new show on the History Channel - Rocky Mountain Bounty Hunters? I was not impressed, especially with the two wannabes on the bikes. I'll reserve any other observations for the time being.

Thoughts?

Nope, I quit watching the History Channel because their programming has become garbage. I'm interested in history, not logging and shooting alligators.

It was pretty clear from the trailer that it was just another ridiculous reality show.

Yeah. I'm missing the Mountain Men series which wasn't all that bad and was hoping this might help. LOL No such luck.

I liked Top Gear and Mountain Men. Other than those I don't watch it since I don't consider much of anything history related.

Let's see, two guys, one a fatty, running around the woods and mountains in leather pants and limited to no gear (from what i can see), it's a wonder they haven't turned into bear food yet. I'll pass.

Yeah, I watched part if it. If they'd have come up on me while I was hunting and told me to freeze, they'd have caught a face full of lead.

Hmmm...I managed to watch some of one episode. I couldn't get past the fact that they're doing 'fugitive recovery' on motorcycles. Really? How do they transport the bad guys back to civilization? "Sit here on the back and hang on. Now, don't try anything like trying to run away while I start the bike..."

Also, as has already been mentioned, they're not exactly dressed for stealthy movement through the brush...

I saw some idiot in walmart at like 2am the other day wearing a black tac vest that had "fugitive apprehension team" printed on it in huge yellow letters. You could smell skeezy all over him. Totally not a real cop, and totally trying to come off as one.
I'll skip the show.

I quit watching TV a long time ago but I'm sorry to hear The History Channel is now garbage. I used to love it.

Now that I think about it, I may have misstated that. It may be on the Animal Planet. I'll have to check that next time I see it listed. History does have a great show on now - Vikings. REALLY good series. I'm getting in all I can right now because where I'm heading two weeks from now, I doubt I'll be watching much TV, if any.

It seems to me there is very little History airing on the History Channel. It was once my favorite but no longer. Programs like Pawn Stars and Pickers are not history. I sometimes watch them but its not history.

Saw 1 episode. Enough to realize that The History Channel really must be getting desperate.

I can tell you from working in the photography and videoography business, that these stories are based on real captures.. but everything you are seeing on the show are done by actors.

Even the show Dog The Bounty Hunter is scripted.

It is a totally stupid program.

In the one episode I watched(can't get that time back) they stopped a guy, not the perp, leaving his own driveway. I see two old biker assnuggets outside my driveway with weapons at the ready, there may be some lead flying. They're looking for trouble....

I can guarantee you that the guys in the show are NOT actors.

Also, the show is on Animal Planet.....not the History Channel.
