Wow...to think that $25 for a brick of .22 LR is a great "Black Friday" deal. Sad....very sad.

I'll bet there will be 500+ people waiting in line and/or coming in for the "deal"

My local Academy Sports store has Federal 525 round packs (a bunch of them) for $21.99. I don't see $25 per 500 rounds as any sort of deal. It may, however, explain why you can't buy them at BPS right now (I am guessing that is the case) as they are in the back of the store, waiting to put them on the shelves to draw the crowds in.

Edit: I believe the ammo I mentioned is the Winchester -Western brand. 36g HP.

my walmart had the remington 225 rnd boxes for $10.99. as the nearest bps is in another state, it's certainly not worth a 2 day, round trip drive with an overnight stay to me.

Sad? It's basic economics. Most online stores are selling bricks for $75+...and selling out! $25 for 500 *IS* a deal nowadays.
