Default My Twilight Years.......

Advertise Here

( A touching e-mail I found in my in-box this morning.)

My Twilight Years

As I enjoy my twilight years, I am often struck by the inevitability that the party must end. There will be a clear, cold morning when there isn't any "more".

No more hugs, no more special moments to celebrate together, no more phone calls just to chat, no more "Did you hear the one about....." This is true for marriages, family relationships, and, especially, old friendships.

It seems to me that one of the important things to do before that morning comes, is to let every one of your family and friends know that you care for them by finding simple ways to let them know your heartfelt beliefs and the guiding principles of your life so they can always say, "He was my friend, and I know where he stood."

So, just in case I'm gone tomorrow, please know this.......I voted against that incompetent, lying, flip-flopping, insincere, double-talking, radical socialist, terrorist excusing, bleeding heart, narcissistic, scientific and economic moron currently in the White House!

The first half is pretty tear jerking. I nearly had to go get my box of kleenex.

Sadder still? That I personally know people who voted not once but twice for Obama and yet feel no sense of responsibility for helping the commie muslim do all the things he is doing to our country and people. When confronted they say 'it's not my fault he's doing all those things!', and I suppose there is some miniscule, near-microscopic crumb of truth to that. I imagine there are some things they didn't realize he was going to ram down our throats just as we didn't. But after the first go-round, they had to have amnesia to vote for more of the same. IMO the people who elected him, particularly the second time, have some level of complicity in what's happening.

Yes, I did just write that, and yes, I do believe it.

While I was reading, I was thinking that MIL-DOT was getting soft, until I read the last paragraph. I like it.

Why, it cuts me deep, bro, that you would even entertain such a thought, however briefly.

I wasn't going to admit it, but why do you think I read the whole thing? I think it's already happening.

Oops. I didn't realize that. You're right. At least you can take a pill for the type of soft he's talking about.
