Default Coolers (Yeti vs. Alaskin Guide vs. Engel vs. Pelican)

I just ordered the Alaskin Guide cooler and wonder if any of you had any experience with them; or any of the other comparable coolers.

I landed on the Alasken Guide due to the lifetime warranty and there seems to be no big differences between the major brands.

Yetis are great. And my personal choice. But honestly, once you get to a certain level and price, they are all very similar.

Did you check into Brute Outdoor Coolers before you made your purchase? I would encourage anyone that wants to save a little $ and have a really sturdy cooler to check into them. Here is one distributor that sells them for a quick reference:http://deltaoutdoorsman.com/scart/in...ewCat&catId=30

Icehole coolers is another brand that's cheaper than yeti (still expensive), and keeps your beer safe from bears as well.

Just saw a video review about coolers and the Engel came out first, but very expensive. The review said best for the $ was Coleman.
