Looks like they are using "DPMS" style AR10 magazines for this rifle.

7.62x51mm chamber.

Also appears to have a version chambered in 300 blackout as well.http://www.lipseys.com/itemdetail.aspx?itemno=MB27718

A good friend just back from AGN sent me a link to this about 20 minutes ago. Only change I would make to it is to mount a Weaver 92A scope base 10" in front of receiver and make it a Scout rifle so it could be operated left handed without removing it from shoulder.

I like the birdcage suppressor as well.

Gallery of guns shows them. The MSRP seems to range from $750-$950 depending on model.

I hope the street price is a lot lower than that

Maybe someday they will make them with longer barrels?

Or a southpaw bolt

If this rifle takes off like the Ruger GSR, then I can see them adding other models of this rifle.( I would like to see an 18 inch bbl version of this rifle myself.)

The threaded bbl ( depending on the thread dimensions) might give folks options for different flash hiders such as SEI's Vortex.

........Not to mention cans.

DPMS 308 magazines will be a big asset for those looking to have a few spares. ( 5,10,20 rd capacity). It should be a solid, reliable feeding system as far as I can tell from the article.

Cant wait to see the future "MVP 762 vs the GSR" threads, once folks get ahold of them and put enough rds downrange to make a good comparison.

I'm tempted, but currently am too involved with another M14SA project.

The scope pkg doesnt look like my cup of tea. ( NC Star maybe, but hard to tell from the photo).

This rifle would be well suited with a set of Williams iron sights, and a Leupold 1-4x20mm VX-1 or2 scope in a set of low slung Weaver or Burris rings..... along with a sling capable of being utilized as a shooting aid.

If the street $$ can be kept below the 600 mark for the bare bones base model, then they should really have a winner with this recent addition, and especially for the kind of folks who need a "1" rifle to cover alot of bases.

The 300 Blackout AR crowd may take a liking to it as well.
