If I had to stay in the "States" Id say AK, DEEP AK. But if I could, Id find an Island somewhere in the South Pacific, WAY offgrid.

I'd stay right here in the Idaho Panhandle; but I'd buy a lot of acreage in the mountains; set up several homes for family and retreat from the world...its getting ugly out there. I don't watch the news on TV anymore; there is enough doom and gloom on these forums....

With a lot of $$, one might want to diversify.

Buy some land in the US, perhaps a couple of different locations. And then look at buying some property in another country as well.

Right now, I think I'd be looking at TN and ID in the US. In other countries, I might be looking toward Chile and Uruguay.

Definitely would want to do some traveling, and with a winning powerball jackpot, I could afford to thumb my nose at the TSA and take some private form of transportation.

Never hurts to have multiple baskets for one's eggs if one has the resources to do so.

Just my own thoughts. I doubt I'll have to worry about a winning powerball ticket. I think the biggest prize I've ever won was $12.

If I won the lottery id buy a chunk of land her in Minnesota.
Id keep my house simple as I could, but id build a basement
in my basement. id focus on security, and have a tunnel that
led to the outside
