I'm wondering if there's any real justification for these prices of if it's plain gouging?

They can charge whatever they like......and we can buy where ever WE like

Why wasn't this posted in the mags and ammo deals thread?

I have several 500 rd bricks that I would gladly sell for $59.99 beating their price by $10!

Sounds like another price-gouging supplier that I will never do business with. That's an insane price.

Hmmm, that's 12.7 cents per round, or $6.36 per 50. Yep, gouging!

I didn't even pay that much per round when I bought mini mags at an inflated price. LOL!

The sad thing is that somebody thought this was GOOD news and posted a thread to share it with others. No offense to the OP, but the world has gone nuts.

At that price it should come with a free NRA membership.

Prior to this current run the price was $.02-.05 a round. The last box I bought back in early December was a 525 round box, I paid $20 and walked out shaking my head at that. Im surely not paying $69 for that same box.

Granted, Im all about free market but just like they are free charge that much, Im free to pass on it.

Oddly enough, on another site last night I saw a story that claims to be a letter from one person to another that claims the government is buying up ammo that they have no use for (including .22) simply to get as much off the streets as possible.

Let us keep our guns and turn them to expensive clubs when they drive the ammo price above what we are willing to pay.

The LGS got in 40 of these exact packs last week. They were charging $50 a pack which I thought was bad enough. The good news is at least it is starting to pop up again, that means it is only a matter of time before the price comes back down to something affordable.

Didn't everyone see the writing on the wall a week after Sandy Hook? How about 2 weeks after?

1 week after I put in an order for a case of 5,000 and 2 weeks after I ordered a case of 5,000 CCI standard velocity. About $300 for those cases, after shipping. I've sold a few bricks for $35 and $37 just to help people out, but at the OP's price match grade stuff has been available cheaper in the last week.

Wow, and they said hyperinflation would never happen. It is now listed for $79.99/525 rounds.

Kept going till it let me add 31 to cart... I will ck it again tomorrow and see if the qty available changes. See if anyone is actually buying this stuff.

Cabelas was selling 325 packs of federal automatch last week for $12.88.

I just took delivery today on a case.

Not everyone is gouging, dont support those who do.

When I was at the big gun show in Portland last weekend this is what the bulk .22 lr rifle was going for. I passed and will continue to do so until I have run out of my non stockpile. I only hope the prices come back down to reality by then.

Going rate for any ammo is about twice what it was before. I know Sports Academy is keeping their prices down at least as much as they can. Bought a box of Thunderbolt 22lr for about 3 dollars. Was going for 1.99 only allowed to buy one box. They are limiting you to three boxes and they all have to be of different calibers. Just thought I would toss that out.
