Default CLL/SLL Leukemia

My father was just diagnosed with both. I don't have a lot of details at this point.

What is protocol now? I believe, just got off phone, they caught it early.

Treatment? Anything? I don't know anything about it, and am currently in shock.

CLL is an ongoing thing, no "cure" from what I remember, but rather requires treatment on a some what regular basis.IIRC that is mostly transfusions and chemo. The specifics will vary a lot depending on the exact type(genetic profile) and the oncologist's prefered regemin.

We'll be praying for you guys!

Just looked it up and SLL or Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma is a non-Hodgkins lymphoma that is the same as the CLL ,but the cells have accumulated in the lymph system. So same disease just different location.
