Default EAA Baikal MP94 rifle/shotgun combo?

Advertise Here

Anyone have any experience with the MP94 (used to be imported as the IZH-94)? Made in 12ga over 223, 7.62x39, 308, or 30-06 or in 410 over 22lr or 22mag. This may be old news but I just noticed EAA is offering them again under the new name.

I thought it would be cool to own a combo but the old IZH94's and similar Savage 24 combos I've seen used are either pricey or look beat up. I've also heard that some of the older models have a seriously different (several feet at relatively short distances) POI between the rifle and shotgun.

One of the auction sites has the 410 models going for about $375 and the 12ga models about $550. I'd be willing to pay that as long as the quality and accuracy is decent but I'm guessing there's a lot of room for error when making the combos. Any info from anyone with experience with the new models is appreciated.
