Default Tech-locks vs MOLLIE locks?

Advertise Here

Posted this in the Esee group, but i'll see if anyone here can help me.

Well, i ordered the mollie locks for my Esee 6 and recieved the Tech lock instead. Looks like the Tech lock can only be mounted on one side or the other.

Should i send back or keep and use?

Pro and Cons?

thank you!

How does the tech lock work, would it be better suited for belt carry?

The Molle locks aren't really made for carrying on a belt.

Tech-lock is sort of like a "clasp" type thing, it fully encloses around a belt and locks it in with "pegs". This prevents the knife from going sideways in either direction. the two "ears" lock into catches and then a secondary lock comes up and blocks the ears from being pressed inwards and unlatching the clasp lock.

As for the MOLLIE locks, it works ok on a belt, have carried it that way before. works real well for putting the knife horizontally accross your back.
