Quite the list and a number of movies that I had never heard about - great list!

Just watched 4:44 ... not bad, very introspective but Willem Dafoe is always a reasonable watch.

BBC's the Survivors (1970's version) was a great series and can be found on youtube.

The newer ones you'll be able to find in the form of Torrents. You download the torroent from a place like piratebay or any number of torrent sites. The program you need to download the torrent is free, called utorrent best one I've tried. Once it downloads you just look in your download folder and play the movie. Alternative to that some might be playing on youtube, some you can try and look up the name followed by "watch online" or something and you might find some playing online. It's hit and miss doing that though. Let me know which ones you are able to find on piratebay ttyl

Some of those look like direct-to-video/DVD ones that could be hard to find. Tarkovsky's Stalker (no. 49 on the list) is a gem, if not a "standard" post-apocalyptic film but rather something of an art film.

Then there's always Things To Come from 1936 that can be legally downloaded from the internet archive (archive.org) that has some spiffy scenes in it (drop in technology level post-collapse, horse towed cars and whatnot).

Great list, thanks. I'm surprised at the absence of some movies such as The Road, I am Legend & The Book of Eli, to name just a few.

I'd be careful using torrents...you can end up with 'issues'...
