Got my new Toy the other day at a hardware sale for $325.00.
It Shoots a great pattern, and I no doubt will be hitting the Turkey shoot network in the Fall.

Makes a damn good mounted Booby Trap shotgun also.

Nice gun. I always wanted one but it never gets any higher than #2 on my list.

Nice gun -- wear well!

What's nice is that you can keep the gun loaded with the hammers down and not have to worry about spring tension and with just a glance you can tell whether the guns are safe or not--In total darkness all you have to do is run your hand over the ears to see if they are cocked and ready to fire.

yep, it's loaded and hanging over the fireplace mantle under the Kentucky longrifle. A good pair.

Gotta love the simplicity of those old hammered double barrels.

I have my great-grandfathers old stevens 16ga, handed down from my grandfather. Certainly some heavy hammers to pull back. And with the long full choked barrels not a very handy thing to swing, but does have some range. 16ga is not the easiest thing to find, tho wal-mart had a couple boxes the other day, a little surprising. Going to get some 20ga inserts for it, plus I have a box of the all brass shells I can reload.

I Had an old 10 gauge double barrel years ago with carved hammers like snake heads, that thing kicked like a mule, and i foolishly sold it. I have never seen one since, rare bird.
