Is there any way we can save this thread (and others)? I.e., is there a "favorite file" that can be used on this site?
Thanks,
Joe

You can bookmark it. Maybe make a folder specifically for threads you've bookmarked from this site, to make finding them easier.

I agree. But Kev is trying to keep the stickies section less crowded than it was before. So I'm not going to sticky it. Bumping it will have to do for now.

I'm pushing for a couple new forums. One for BOBs and kits, and another for food/water storage and prep. That'd be a big help too.

From the recent questions I've been seeing, probably not.

Frustrating at times. I mean, Tx spent hours compiling this and it answers pretty much every question about storing food, all compiled in one easy and very organized fashion.

Yes'm. We hold signatures for ransom.

But that's nothing that a generous donation to the old moderators retirement fund can't fix.

No matter how many times we bump it, they have to head straight to the new thread button without even as much as a thought about trying to find the answer for themselves. Even if this thread is just below the one they started. Sorry for the rant, but I feel better now.

Mike, with all due respect, if I possessed a body of knowledge and somebody asked for help, specifically, I would try to help them. i.e. if I was a certified mechanic and somebody asked me how many degrees before top dead center the timing was set on an old distributor based electrical/ignition, I would not toss him an 8 inch Chilton's manual, I would simply tell him and feel pretty tickled that he asked me.
