Arrow List Of Threads To Help With Storing In Mylar

Advertise Here

A very common question is often asked regarding what to store in Mylar bags.
How do I store it?
What do I store in Mylar?
o2 Absorbers? How much?

I've compiled a list of threads from the past year or so. Not so comprehensive that is has every thread ever posted here, but a good collection. I thought it might help newer members, and some members that have been here a while.

Many ask questions....and there are many answers. Most can be found in the following threads. Hope it helps mostly our newer members. I know sometimes people say they have trouble with the search function. So this compilation of threads should help people find answers to a lot of questions in one spot.

Hope it helps you on your way to getting a good food storage plan going. Good luck!

What an incredible piece of work, thanks so much for taking the time to post all this info.

I find the search facility a bit hit and miss, but maybe that's me.

Thank you so much for all your hard work! I've had mylar bags and 02 absorbers for about 4 months now and have been too scared I'd screw it up to use them. Will carefully read through all this information and start this weekend!!

Thanks again for this!

Great list. I will be exploring it shortly. And I feel honored that a couple of my threads are in it. I must be doing something right... Thanks

And I feel like maybe a section on buckets, what kinds and where to get them could be included since it is what mylar is stored in mostly. I can make a list and PM you if your are interested.

This is amazing - thank you so much.

Any clue as to what the length of time Mylar will extend shelf life? Indefinitely?
