H&R Pardner Shotgun Mag Extensions?

Has anyone specifically installed a steel or aluminum mag extension on the pardner shotgun (12 gauge)? If so, which brand.

ATI make 7, and 8 shot extensions but they say they will not fit. I know that the dimples need to be removed. I would prefer a metal extension over the new hard plastic ones.

TACstar makes them as well. I have a 28 inch barrel, so once the unit is installed where I want it, I would then reduce the barrel length to around 22 inches.

Good question.I recently got one myself. I don't want to be caught w/ 5 shots, 6 BGs and no tactical wheel barrel..

FYI,

For those who have interest. The ATI aluminum mag extension (#A.5.10.2305) will fit on the H&R pardner shotgun (12 gauge). The existing magazine must have the two dimples removed (they hold the black plunger in place). I used a 5/32" drill bit and then dremel tool and sandpaper. If your shotgun barrel is 28 inches (mine was) you can then cut down to 20-5/8 inches to match the extension. Or, you can still have the extension on there with an 18 inch barrel it would just look a little odd.

Also, when reassemblying, use the black plastic plunger that came with your pardner. Just make sure that it you have removed the burrs on the inside of the magazine.

Same as will be found on the 870 express and the remedy is also the same...

It's got to be an armored wheel barrow with a shooting port through botton of it...before I'd consider using it "tactically"...

How long is it form the end of your barrel to the front of your barrel lug. Any Remington extension will fit the new H&R pump guns.
