I know there is a discreet survivalist group somewhere in Wisconsin. Please PM me if anyone has any information whatsoever.

Im in Green Bay, I do a lot of camping up north. In MI theyve got the Ottawa Natl Forest, a great place for backpacking, camping and testing out gear. Anyone ever been into the Porcupine Mtns? or Sylvania Wilderness?

I'm 30 miles south of green bay. I'd have to say that I think northern Wisconsin would be an ideal place to set up camp for a while if the SHTF ,but those spots would definately be tough to reach by foot. I've heard about a group in the area by where I live but its pretty hush hush.

I can tell you that there are a number of groups here but very few would respond to an open post and I would be very cautious any who do. Adding a new candidate member is a real security risk. If they agree to meet you, expect a neutral location for the meet, your qualifications to be examined and other hoops to jump through.
No one wants the "uninvited" to show up when the situation is critical; don’t take it personally.

Hey everyone, just found this site, Green Bay area, do alot of camping up here, I am really interested in learning Winter Survival.
I am not from here originally and thought the knowledge and experience would be great. I travel alot and most likely would have to find my way back home and have been putting together a bug home bag to keep in my car.

Has anyone watched the guy on youtube .. nutnfancy? The guy does some winter packing and it's pretty good stuff.

It is amazing to me the amount of Wisconsinites that are here, maybe we can give Utah a run.. Doubt it but hey..

I just joined the forum, found the site a week or two ago. Moved to Green Bay from a place where a two inch snow shuts down the state; it's been a learning experience. So, anything happening around here a new guy can be told about?
