Check out the Benelli Nova Tactical... $350 and you have the best pump made.

I own four pumps and one semi-auto... the M1 Benelli. I'll take a pump over the best semi-auto any day... but the M4 Benelli is on my bucket list.

A- in your opinion is 1300 a decnet price for an m4? I've see them from 1500 to 1800 (camo). Thanks for you input..

1300 bucks is a very fair price for a M4. Depending on the setup, prices vary.

The Benelli M4 is THE semi-auto I would trust in a life or death situation.

You get what you pay for.

For me the Benelli M4 is the most reliable semi-auto shotgun, but this is my personal opinion and perhaps personal preference. I prefer the tubular magazine, although the SPAS15 is also fun to shoot.

And please, don't start comparing Saiga or Mossberg semi-autos with the Benelli.

Why would you wanna a shotgun that cannot shot non-lethal munitions? Your limiting your force multiplier if you ask me.

$350.00 for a tactical 870 or a Moss. 500 is more the route I would be heading.

I'd go with the Benelli M2 tactical. However, that is a great price.

Ditto what he said.

Wald, from now on instead of me posting the m4... just add my name to anything you put up. I think our views are identical.

the M4 Benelli is in a class all its own and nothing else comes close. I'd love to own a Saiga for fun days at the range... but if I had my family to protect the M4 is the best tool I can think of in semi-autos. And since the price of Saigas is so close... why by a Volkswagon Bug when you can get a Lamborghini for the same price?

I've never seen an M2 or M3... are they even commonly available? The only one I ever see now in shops is the M4?

I'm going to try to be really good all year so that Santa gives me one damn heavy stocking stuffer.
