So many people said they needed a place to share their dreams. Dreams that really mattered to them. Just posting on an odd thread here or there brought out too many idiots and trolls that had nothing else to do but ridicule people who were sincerely trying to understand their dreams. Especially now that so many are having deep and powerful dreams like never before.

ALL I ASK IS KEEP THIS THREAD .............DREAMS ONLY..............Be respectful of others and if you have a personal agenda please go somewhere else. The folks on here don't need you.

Other then those short rules........Enjoy and Share

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

D>R>E>A>M>S

Dreams are not only warnings but also a collection of deep inner thoughts and the presence of our past. Others are glimpses into the future as our inner self portrays it to be. That is why only a handful of people dream in color, or dream with smells and touch of objects.

Regular dreams are what I call Planes Dreams . Flat plane, like miles and miles of nothing and then the characters they create appear. No substance just pieces. Mostly forgotten when they awake.

Then there are the Prophetic Dreamers, they dream being on the outside looking in, not necessarily in the dream as a character but simply watching the scenes as they progress. They witness amazing things and see wonders that we can only imagine. They remember when they wake up but that is all.

There is the Dream Walker. These you walk through other peoples dreams. When you see that person days, weeks even months later you both connect with very strong eye contact like you know each other but you never really met. The pulling is so intense for both people, almost spooky. But you go on your way. Or if you do stop to talk you approach with "Don't I know you from somewhere? But you are really strangers.

Finally there are the Seeker Dreamers. You are part of it, you feel everything in it and even though there are many strangers, you somehow know them but don't know why. You see things that may be coming but they feel confusing yet re-assuring at the same time. You become emerged in the dream and it stays with you even after you awake. It has literary implanted itself into the fabric of your inner mind.

Last is the Dream Repeater. You can program yourself to return to a dream every night or when ever to continue where you stopped when you woke up. This is very rare but can be done by numerous people.
After awhile the dream state becomes another realm where the dreamer goes for refuge. Away from all the problems of the day and becomes the character the dream has invented. To some it is a place of safety from a sad and scary life that exits in the real world. Some after years, choose not to return to the real world.

Dreams are very personal, at least to those who attempt to try and understand them.

That said, without going into much detail, I would have dreams months ago where I would stand watching a major tsunami frozen in time- almost as though there was a pause button hit. This was not just an isolated dream but happened more than once. Fast forward to a few days ago, I had on two consecutive nights dreams of massive flooding- one dream showing a major US city being completely inundated with water.

I do attempt to remember my dreams and interpret them. I know that, despite the apparent chaos of dreams, they are often times more accurate in their symbolism than our waking conscious state. A single dream of flooding would not stick out to me necessarily, two nights consecutively, and revealing a forward progression of past dreams has caught my attention.

maybe the water is just a symbol, of we are being flooded with problems. mortgages being underwater etc.

Ive had dreams that are very vivid which include specific dates one of 51703 which was the day my grandfather passed away on. I had this number in my dreams for yrs before he passed. Ive also had a dream over the past few months of the number 81311 which I assume to be another date.

I also have terrible headaches which coincide with disasters most recently the Japanese tsunami. I was at work and around 7:45 pm I had such a bad one that it put me to my knees and coworkers asked if I was ok. This only lasted for about a hr then it was gone. Ive had these headaches since I was hit in the head by a tree.

Im no skeptic but just think its odd that these events coincide with my dreams and headaches. Just wondering here lately of the 81311 though

Pathfinder, your dream and mine seem eerily similar. Go into detail! This thread is the place to do that, and it may reveal more. I'll expand on what I posted in the Anomalies thread.

I had a dream 2 nights ago that I was camping with people I didn't know near a riverbank. Maybe 15 or so people with me, which makes sense considering I go on a lot of backpacking trips with a local group and the trips usually consist of 10-15 people.

I knew something was wrong. One of those gut feelings so many of us are getting familiar with. It was early evening with not much light, but I could see something about the river changing. I saw a few small waves in the river, and then a huge tsunami-like wave came barreling down towards the group. It looked about 50-60 feet high.

I'm not a particularly good swimmer, and I knew I was going to die. I told myself that I was going to try to swim and grab hold of something if possible, but that it was probably the end for me. My only thoughts were ,"Well, this sucks." Oddly enough, there was zero panic, just acceptance of my mortality.

After I "died", I went back in time a few moments before the wave was coming. I climbed up the riverbank to higher ground, telling everyone to come with me or they would be killed. Nobody believed me, some laughed. The wave came and killed most of them. The bank I climbed onto was pretty steep and cliff-like. When I got to the top, I saw others there who had seen the wave and climbed as I had. This was only a few minutes after the wave, but the daylight had changed from late evening to mid-day brightness. I saw people trying to make boats out of things like 2x4s and drowning when they tried to float on the river in them.

There was a cave near the riverbank, and inside it appeared to be a post-apocalyptic bazaar. There was electricity and vendors selling everything from cheap knives to lamps and candy. It was so strange. I took out a dollar and bought an 85 cent package of salt and felt satisfied that I knew salt would become valuable after a societal collapse.

I saw an old diabetic man in a rocking chair selling protein powder. I somehow knew he had pain medication and was terminal. I thought how easy it would be to steal the medication from him, but realized that doing that would accelerate the slide downward into anarchy. Then I woke up.

Sorry for the lengthy response, but it was an extremely detailed dream with what I feel like is a lot of meaning.

By the way, do you all dream in color or black and white? I"m a full color dreamer and always have been. Maybe there's significance to that.

A couple nights ago I had a dream where their was a bunch of people standing outside looking up to the sky at the HUGE bright strange moon. People were saying, "wow look at the moon, that's nuts!!" After a few minutes of staring at the moon I looked closely around it and I saw the real moon, that wasn't even the moon people were staring at. What was it? I have no idea. But the longer I stared at it after I noticed the real moon the less it looked like the moon and the more screwed up the situation was.

The reason I'm up at 2:30 AM is because of a dream I just had about huge tsunami like water waves rushing UPHILL in a stream bed. Caused all kinds of damage upstream and down.

I really cant say that mine was a dream because i was awake. This happend about 9 years ago and it still haunts me to this day. My wife and i had ben seperated for a year and i was in one of those depressed moods and went to the river to think, I was all alone and sitting on a fallen log looking at the river flowing by, thinking about my life and what, and why everything happend like it did and was just pondering everything when as i was looking at the river it seemd everything started changing. Their i was as a little child and a voice came to me saying "why have you lost your way??, why have you forgotten about me??" then as i saw myself playing it changed and i saw myself older now and i was hunting and fishing and just doing what i loved to do...when a feeling came to me that described why i always loved te outdoors and love collecting camping and hunting equipment.....it was like i had always wonded why i was into collecting this stuf and now i knue....then i hurd the voice agian and it said "if people dont change this will happen"...i saw buildings burning, people dying, looting, killing, it seemed that th whole eirth was on fire and everything was dying. Then the voice said "gather your friends and prepair" then i saw myself (but i was older) going to a place in the mountains that i have never ben before but was verry familular with and i turned around and i was being followed by people i both new as trusted friends and people i didnt know that i felt were trusted friends that i have yet to meet. Then the voice said "all will be ok and you will know when the time comes" when it was over i had fallen down behind the log i was sitting on and was staring up into the sky, but i had ansures to a lot of questions about my life but had a whole new set of questions that have yet to be ansured.....the one that haunts me the most is that when i say myself as i was later in life i looked to be 10 to 11 years older and i felt it soo, well that would make what is to come about 1 to 2 years from now...and i feel this urgency to get more things done...and i wonderd how i was to find whear i was to go....well with my recent motorcycle wreck i have found that i will now have the money to perchase the land i want, all im waiting on now is the settlement and the guidence to find the land that im suppose to be on.
I have never went into great detail about that day untill now, I felt compelled to post it here for all to see. Im not a prophet or a saint or anything like that and dont want to be made out to be one either......everyone has these feelings and dreems, mine was just a bit bizzare..... altho i do have to admit that i am meeting some verry familular people as of late and it seems like i have known them for a while, so you be the judge.......

Strange. I, too, had a tsunami dream not too long ago. But I was at the coast, not a river. Also, I survived it okay.

Wow, this is going to be an amazing thread! I've always believed in the power of dreams, but I find that I have been having a REALLY hard time remembering my dreams for the last few months. I have been trying to concentrate on what I dreamed as soon as I wake up.

One of the things I've been wanting to ask people here is - have you been dreaming about your dead family members lately? My husband has been having tons of dreams about his parents lately and I've even had a couple dreams about my father - which is VERY odd for me. We weren't close and I rarely ever dream about him. Strange! I have been paying closer attention to my dreams and will continue to especially now that we have this thread.

My dreams are just ordinary dreams, but I have experienced a feeling of dread for the past year. It has nothing to do with my finances or family worries. It is just a heavy weight of dread.

In March of 2009 I had a dream. In my surreal dream there were planes flying and crashing everywhere. The air was thick with black smoke and weird chemicals that made your throat hurt and there was no where to get away from it. Most homes and building were completely destroyed. You couldn't tell if it were night or day and there was scences of horror everywhere you turned.

There was a constant sounds of automatic fire in the background and the aweful sounds of metal tearing and ripping apart, you could here the sounds of diesel tank engines struggling to gain ground while firing. The sounds alone were the worst, you never knew if the next massive explosive would kill you or not, I could feel the compression of air with each blast. There was absolutley no where to go or hide, it was everywhere!

It was the most terrifying dream I have ever had. I started prepping in April 2009

See, now for me, the one thing I'm hanging onto is that I DON'T have the feeling of dread that I've had in the past before something really bad has happened. I feel anxious, but without the feeling of dread and pretty much without fear, considering what I believe we are all facing. Hmmm....

If you have ever researched, read or heard of people with savant syndrome (Rainman), you can see just how powerful the human mind is. Certain people can utilize areas that have extraordinary abilities. Unfortunately they usually end up giving something up for that ability. It just goes to show that the ability "IS" there, it's just accessing it - that is the difficult part.

I have no doubt some people have dreams that mean more than just the average dreams.

This is an interesting thread, keep'em coming!

Hey friends,
I had tsunami dream in November (2010). It was not part of any dream, just stood by itself. I was standing on the west coast and I saw this giant black wave building on the edge of the ocean. I stood there and couldn't believe how tall it was getting. Then I was transported up and could look at the western seaboard and saw that it extended from Baja through the Northwest. I went up and down several times. I remember thinking there is no way anyone can outrun this. I knew everyone who lived on the western coast within reach of this monster was going to die. It was a colorful dream and I can still close my eyes and see it.

The interesting part is that the next day I was pondering this dream on my way to work with my husband (we commute) and he mentioned that he had a weird dream the same the night. His dream involved a wave of cold air coming from the west. A couple of nights after that, he had a dream of an eruption in the Mt. Hood area. He was camping out on the mountain and it was very peaceful. All of a sudden, he saw a volcano blow in that vicinity blow it's top. I thought it was interesting that recently they've been reporting increased seismic activity in the Mt. Rainier area.

Finally, last dream, more like a vision, he had occurred several months ago in early spring. In the vision, he was awake with his eyes closed, he was on our land and glanced over and saw or cabin shaking violently. Our BOL is not in an active zone. He reinforced and is reinforcing it based on his dream to hopefully withstand an eq. I don't know what's coming, but you would have to be willfully blind not to see that way too much weird stuff is happening in every area (seismically, economically, politically, astronomically). Nothing feels right.
You guys are truly a blessing. I love to hear what you all have to say. Thank you for starting a dream thread.

I usually dream about what I will do during a catastrophe! I go to bed thinking about scenerios and such and how I would handle it if faced with it, so that is what I end up dreaming about!

I have some friends who are bigger dreamers, for instance one friend dreamt in 1986 that the space shuttle was being pulled (towed) behind a 747 and there was 6 fighter jets behind it. Less than a month later Challenger blew up. He interpreted it as the 747 was a herse and the 6 jets were the pallbearers of the shuttle...but who knows!

He also claims to have had a dream about the twin towers too, but I can't remember that one.

I have had many of those kinds of dreams, among others. The most recent one was I was at a family gathering and someone said soldiers were coming to take over. Then I was in like a warehouse building and I was alone. I heard and saw gunfire outside a metal door with a window. Then I saw a soldier outside the door with a gun and he saw me at the same time. I was running up stairs and when I got to the 4th floor I saw a pile of what looked like old blankets. I was going to hide under them but I found four little dirty skinny kids sleeping there. I was wondering where their parents were. I heard bootsteps on the stairs and I was so scared I woke up.
