I held one
I begged the owner to sell it to me (my boss) They are very rare but I will tell you They are light feel good and solid in the hand Steel not aluminum Also no back spike its a simple hardened throwing hatchet. My boss said he got it from an employee of his (necklace of ears kinda guy) Light, small, steel, throwing hatchet, one piece of metal, slightly curved surface, feels light and can travel ten feet with a flick of the wrist good luck |

I'm interested in a good and affordable tomahawk now too...can you suggest some other options. I saw a united cutlery tomahawk at a knife store on Thursday, all black, light, plastic handle. http://budk.com/Outdoor-Sports/Unite...h-Nylon-Sheath Is that model junk?
Your cold steel model looks awesome! http://www.coldsteel.com/trench-hawk.html |

Try Ebay. I saw an original Vietnam Tomahawk there. It was priced at $3500. I believe there is a company also found on Ebay that sells a clone of it for about $150 (?). They make two types one with a metal handle and one with a wood handle.
