Default Searching for news about power outage at Sidney Ohio Walmart

My step daughter just called saying she was in Walmart here in Sidney and all of the scanners went bezerk. It happened 15 minutes ago. I'm watching TV and checking the net for word on it. She also lost signal on her cell phone. I think maybe I am supposed to go fix this situation for her. She called from Walmart....

Hmmmmm.........

It is 1:32 a.m. So this has been a full hour and I have heard nothing, including the cell phone. Of course I am not interested enough to drive over there.

It was off for an hour and a half or so. Came back up eventually.

This has been a test of the National Emergency Test Center. Had this been a real emergency you would have been given direct deposit information.

Power wasn't out actually. The computers went nuts, the alarm in McDonald's, all the tech stuff...

I am not sure. Just what the step daughter told me on the phone from there. She was freaking out. Kinda funny.

If she lost her cell phone signal how was she able to talk to you on her phone? She doesn't happen to be blond?

Lucky girl to have you to call when she thinks there could be trouble.

Perhaps you could give her someone else's number to call in case there is real trouble ahead. Then you won't have to be bothered at all.

There was nothing on them last night when I posted this. I have been in Ft Wayne today and slept a little this afternoon. Still haven't checked it yet.

Kind of what I thought. Anyway, she was losing her cell connection also. Said she'd call back. Her husband was with her. He's the most capable person here I know. She was just giving us a report. I knew they were okay. I meant to go check out the store. I don't know how she got my number anyway.

A hiccup in a local store is not something that makes a worthy headline. Unless.....

IT WAS ALIENS!!!

I wasn't concerned. Just throwing it out there for a time and incident reference.
