Several choices here:

Left system up, annoying roomie or younger sibling is using it.

Uses Facebook, MySpace, and all the others, got hacked.

Some folks say government troll, but those are more subtle.

Apparently you don't live in the same part of the state I do. Just for common sense starters, I have heard them say hurricane possible on the news and the grocery store empty over night.

Or a place called Chocolate City I mean New Orleans might come to mind.

Still, people DO ask. Fact is, the last 5 or 6 times I asked about a product for which there was a shelf tag, and shelf space, I got told they had none. So if there is some item I really like, I might just as well make sure I have plenty when I do find it in stock.

BBBAAAAAhhhh....sheeple alert!. Check back with us next time Carolina has a hurricane warning, shelves empty pretty quick. While the panic buyers are buying stuff to keep them alive, the preppers are in the popcorn ailse trying to decide which brand to buy.

Just started the "Clueless in Carolina" series.
Some very basic questions that you might be asked by family and friends.
Think of it as an exercise in patience and explaining basic preparedness.
-Or some lighthearted humor.

Maybe you should have started all of your "Clueless" threads with this blurb from your profile instead of getting all the regulars in a tizzy. I almost thought the zombie apocolypse was starting!

The "blizzard" we had on Tuesday night produced about 7 inches of snow where I live and yet the grocery stores were overrun the night before and cleaned out of many items. (incase you are wondering, Coke was very popular, lol)

I shudder to think of how many minutes it would take to clear out the grocery store in a real emergency. You would probably be in line for hours but have only minutes to grab whatever you could get your hands on to fill your basket.

The previous situations not withstanding, if you have a good supply of food on hand, it means less trips to the grocery store and no doubt at all a savings, because prices only go up, not down.

Personally, I liked the way he did it. It was pretty amusing to see people's reactions.
