Advertise Here

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone here knew where i could buy a modern gas mask that would protect me from most if not all dangerous chemicals in the air if TSHTF and there is a chemical attack.

Thanks for your help!

Here's a comprehensive collection. I'd suggest the Millennium CBRN mask.

Yep,
You are correct !
I, however, am government trained with tha M-17, and this is identical, but covers bio also.
At the price, buy several, and a change takes less then 15 seconds.
I have 6 of these, and 4 M-17 mask, including 30 and 60 filters.
They work, and for 12-14 hours of continuous exposeure.
If you do not have mop gear, and decontamination capability, everything is a waste.

What kind of mask is preferrable for mace, tear gas, etc. that you may have shot at you duing civil unrest.

Im not too concerned about an external attack with WMDs or anything. But the 1st scenario is more likely IMO.

The ones posted here are just fine, cheap hence disposable.
perfect function for which you are asking.
$200.00-$500.00 is unacceptable for a short term use, disposable situation.
Buy 5, and you can venture too several outings

Those Israeli masks are out dated and will get you hurt. Sometimes the mask itself can be toxic when its old. Spend the money and buy a new mask with filters, and NOT just for mace.

Here's a link to why thoe masks may not be any good.

What amazed me was that a 5-6 years ago, when I was living in Sunnyvale CA, I bought 2 plus extra filters at the local Fry's electronics store!

If you're referring to the one I'm selling, mine is a new M40 current production, current issue mask, that's new in the box. It's not an outdated reject from Israel.

The british S10 or N10 and variants are considered to be one of the best gas masks in production. to prevent the issue of them being outdated, try buying from industrial suppliers, they do exactly the same job, as the Nuclear commision, chemical plants and the emergency services buy from such suppliers. heres a british site to guive you an idea. http://www.romarworkwear.com/catalog...&subgroup2=all

Every time I hear this argument I get a link to this site. You do know that they make there bussiness selling new gass masks right? "How can we sell more of thiese expensive gass masks guys".... " I know we can write up an article saying that the old surplus masks will kill you, that's the ticket". They are the only folks I've seen saying this online. Every one else seems to have a link to them that has this view.

Maybe it's ligit information but I have a had time believing it, due to me not finding any one else saying the same that isn't conected with them.
