I applied for it last year, even talked to the producer but it was my bum knee that kept me out even though I explained it would be more realistic to have at east one person with a slight handicap. Now this is funny, the producer said they had plenty of people with handicaps in the last season, meaning lack of intelligence, lol. In the end it was a liability problem with the insurance people that kept me out!

Yeah screw that. And no joke if one of those supposive looters jacked my stuff, even on that show. An ass beating will be in place for them if I catch them. Even on a reality show, IDE be so ****ed getting vital survival necesities stolen. I would prob be kicked off pretty quick due to trying to set up booby traps. Lol

It would be interesting to compare a "generally" prepared retreat vs. the typical group they toss together and jam into a warehouse to see how the manage the unexpected. But, I suspect they have an agenda that must be followed. And, anyone who participated as a prepared person would be labeled as crazy. I have always looked at it as the survivalist version of Real Life or Jersey Shore on MTV.

When you scroll down to June 3rd, it says that season 3 of The Colony is on semi-permanent hold. Also if you check out their facebook page, not only does it repeat the same message, it also says to apply for Frontiersman. This message appears in the June 3rd section of facebook.

I dont want to see a dozen people sitting around counting how many cans of spam, litres of milk, buckets of rice etc that they have left, I wanna see people who can't fish hook themselves, carpenters who cant nail smash their thumbs, hot girls washing their shrinking clothes

It would suck when they had to shoot me because when the bad guys would come to steal from us I would have made some real improvised weapons like a bow or something. OR club one of them and steal their things. Or hike out to one of the parking lots and steal the battery out of the production staff's cars... Haha
