This is a pretty good primer. As soon as I unearth the old Idaho School of Mines text, I'll get with you on it. The link I posted, though, will let you figure your rock density and ties, and the math ain't that hairy.... |

To all you folks posting your email address here, he said to PM him.
I doubt he's going to check this thread constantly for new email addresses. And he shouldn't have to when PMs are easier. Plus posting email addresses openly is a good way to get email spam. Those automated email address harvesters look for email addresses all over the net, even here.
