Default AR-15 Coated in Flat Dark Earth.

Here are some Pictures of my Noveske Recon 16in with VLTOR VIS. I had it coated by Ironridgeguns.com, Oliver is local for me and I'm impressed with his work. It is coated in Flat Dark Earth and Black. I ordered the Upper from DSG arms and the Lower from GandR.

Extras
NightForce 1-4x24 FC-2 reticule
Larue SPR 1.5 mount
Larue Light mount
Larue FUG
Surefire 6PD. With a Cree LED drop-in and after market tape switch.
Magpul UBR in Flat Dark Earth
Ergo Ambigrip. I really like it.
Troy Folding Sights
Blue Force Gear Vickers two point padded sling.

I put 200 rounds of M855 down range today on some diet soda cans. I hate Diet soda. They let you know when you hit them. I really want some Tannerite. It works well the bolt was coated as well. I didnt need to use as much lube. But I do like to run my ARs wet.

Sweet rifle. I am jealous! In my mind, about the only thing that comes even close to the quality of a Noveske is a Les Baer. If I had to rate them, it would be this way:

#1 Noveske
#2 Les Baer
#3 Colt

Whats the price for a full coat job run? I'd be interested in having it done by them. And how long does it take?

No I didnt, It cost me an arm, leg, 2 kidneys and 2 months of work.
I skimped on the Optic. I went the the Nightforce NXS instead of the Schmidt and Bender short dot. It saved me a grand. I really like the Nightforce, it works well. But there may be a short dot in the future.

I would contact Oliver @ Ironridgeguns.com
Ask him for a quote. It depends on how much you need coated what accessories you have. Mine took about 3 weeks. It would have been shorter, but the VLTOR VIS system required a tool for removal that he had to order.

Mine cost $350

I added a Tango Down Bipod to this rifle. Its awesome they only thing I would like to see is a quick detach version. Otherwise its really nice.

I think i'm finally done with this rifle.
