Default Remote Viewing & Other Amazing Abilities We Humans Have

Advertise Here

Well, I am not sure where to put this, but I put it here because it says,
"anything non-survival related & general chit-chat stuff", and that sounded about right.

Don't know if you have noticed, but things are getting a bit boring ... kinda the same old, same old, so I decided to post something that was totally off topic, but that I find extremely interesting, and that I hope you find interesting as well. Some of you might remember a thread I started a good while back on, "The Energy Field Around Us And What We Can Learn", and if you are interested, you can still find it here:
http://www.survivalistboards.com/sho...light=Graywolf
The power of the human mind has always facinated me, and we had some wonderful discussion on lots of things throughout the course of it. In that thread, we discussed learning how to use latent senses that all people possess, and how they could benefit us in survival situations, so get ready for part 2!

Recently, I posted some information in the "Bad Moon Rising" thread in response to a person who called folks who believed in premonitions and intuition, paranoid people and basically shamed us for using what is one of our most basic senses. In that article, it is obvious that our government, as well as, other governments of the world have done an awful lot of research into the powers of the mind, and some of the results were stunning. After posting the original information, I started to focus on one of the folks that was involved from the early stages of research, Ingo Swann, who was "The Father" of Remote Viewing, and pioneered many of the techniques still used today. Mr. Swann was born in 1933, which puts him at about 77 years old, but the man is still amazing.

In this first post, I am going to repost the original information from the "Bad Moon Rising" thread, just so everyone is on the same page and has some background. If you have already read that one, just skip down to the second post where I will add new information. Here we go:

REMOTE VIEWING - The New Frontier of Human Awareness
http://www.remoteviewing.com/remote-...mes/index.html

The term "remote viewing" was coined by Ingo Swann and his colleagues at Stanford Research Institute (SRI). The remote viewing process was developed under contract to the U.S. Government to adapt and apply a specific psychic phenomena to intelligence collection, and Swann was the key trainer for that research. In the fall of 1996, The CIA declassified the so-called "Star-gate" program, and for the first time, Americans heard startling official confirmation that their government had for a quarter century, trained and used psychic spies. Using remote viewing, government personnel had observed targets in the Soviet Union and elsewhere, obtaining intelligence unavailable through any other means. The current RV movement grew out of this government program, and many of the best-known and practicing viewers today are ex-military personnel. A number have formed private firms that cater to corporate and private interests.
This is continued in the original article.

Remote Viewing (Delves into more than just remote viewing, and I will save you the time of looking for it by just pasting it below. You could, however, look up those mentioned by name to see where their research has led, and what they are currently researching.)

Recently Declassified Project
Remote Viewing - U.S. Military - C.I.A. Espionage and Parapsychology

There was a program that aired on cable called, PSI FILES on the Discovery Channel. It was about the government project "Remote Viewing." The following is a report of the TV show along with much research on the Internet. (search under Remote-Viewing or CRV ) Later the Program was called STAR GATE or Star-Gate.

Remote Viewing is the ability of the human mind to "see" things at a location that is anywhere around the globe. Remote Viewers are people with the ability to describe buildings, people and other things totally through the power of the mind. The US Military and the CIA, among others, have more than a casual interest in psychic abilities.

In the early 1970’s the Soviets made some amazing breakthroughs in the development of psychic research. The CIA became aware of the fact that the KGB was actively pursuing the "Ultimate Weapon" the human mind. There were some amazing claims coming from the Soviets in the psychic or parapsychic realms.

Cold War pushed the US Military into developing a psychic program, from fear of the KGB advances in these areas, as well as verified intelligence reports.

Russians developed their psychic abilities and it was feared that they would turn the mind (psychic phenomena) into the ultimate weapon. So we started the same projects.

Major General Ed Thompson - Assist. Chief of Staff for Intelligence, US Army, 1977-1981... says Soviet psychic research went underground in the KGB and was funded by the govt. in the early 1970’s. Mostly they were interested in Long Distance communication, psychic communication, Telekinesis, and Telepathic Hypnosis

Colonel John Alexander - US Army Intelligence and Security Command, 1982-1984...says that the Soviets had multiple psychic research laboratories. The Soviets screened civilians for natural psychic talent. The Soviets also claimed to be able to induce death through psychic means.

To catch up with the Russians the US turned to Stanford Research International (SRI) which was Americas second largest Think Tank, and it received over 70 million dollars from the US govt. annually to use for high tech defense related projects. They were chosen to research the mind as a reliable tool for espionage and war.

Hal Putoff- Head of research of Remote Viewing Project, Stanford Research Institute, 1972-1985...says that what started as a relatively small project took up the next 15 years of his life. In 1972 the CIA gave Hal 50,000 dollars to find a means of psychic technique that could be demonstrated reliably and if possible used operationally. Hal began to research the ESP techniques to develop the perfect spy. Hal employed a psychic named Ingo Swann as well as others.

Ingo Swann introduced Hal Putoff to the world of Remote Viewing. They would give the various psychics certain map coordinates and ask them to describe what was there. It could be anywhere on the globe but there were some psychics who kept describing the right things. They got to be so good at remote viewing that the project escalated.

Remote viewing is the ability so see in ones mind, and describe places anywhere on the globe. The govt. would Not have escalated the project unless they got satisfactory results. One psychic accurately saw a biological warfare laboratory that was inhumanly testing on animals and Humans that was hidden under an old POW camp, through remote viewing. It was confirmed and later destroyed as a result.

The Generals would select certain Longitude and Latitude coordinates and give them to the psychics. The psychics kept accurately describing what was there in amazing detail. A govt. official that was selecting these coordinates decided to give the psychics the coordinates of his vacation cabin in the nearby mountains. The official accidentally miscalculated the coordinates and the result was one that got the attention of everyone! He accidentally gave them the coordinates of an installation that was so secret, only the top level people knew it was there.

There were 2 that described what was really at the coordinates and it was a Top Secret Military Installation, highly classified, and Nobody was supposed to know about it. But 2 of their main psychics described it in detail, and that got the attention at the top. They described hallways in mapped detail, names and name badges on the some of people in there, file cabinets and File names, all of this highly classified.

They described in detail a Satellite Spying Communication System, run by the Pentagon, Now they got the attention of the people at the top and then the money began to flood in for the advancement of the psychic studies. Due to the accuracy, and the fact that NOBODY was supposed to know this place existed, different agencies began to participate in the SRI project, like CIA, Defense Intelligence Agency, Navy. They now all began to participate in the psychic research and experiments. There was no question as to it’s accuracy and validity.

In 1978 a multimillion dollar remote viewing research and development by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and the US Army began its program.

Major General Ed Thompson tells of how he had met the psychics at SRI, including Ingo Swann and how it was business like and not a carnival type atmosphere.

Major General Ed Thompson decided to try his hand at remote viewing and had his staff give him a coordinate, and he accurately described a Masonic temple which was at the site! His staff drove him to the site and he was amazed to see the huge building which he saw in his minds eye, then when he flew out the next day, he saw the Masonic temple from the air, he knew it was the same angle he viewed it remotely.

That experience convinced Major General Ed Thompson that it was a real phenomena. Then he set up a project in the Army, at Ft Meade, Maryland, under the Army Intelligence and Security Command. They employed intelligence personnel with a natural abilities, like artists, entrepreneurs, and risk takers, or those with psychic experiences in the past. These were trained by the SRI psychic, Ingo Swann.

Major Ed Dames, Remote-Viewing Unit, US Army, 1984-1989...was trained by Ingo Swann in Remote Viewing, and began to train others. He claims to be Swann’s protégé, and caretaker of the technology, and provided advanced training for many top level people from many different agencies.

Some psychics specialized in things like, Nuclear Weapons, Soviet Tanks Location, Chemical and Biological Weapons Location, (all located by remote viewers), as well as the location of Mohmar Khadaffi, in Lybia. They used the predictions of the psychics to locate Khadaffi and drop bombs on him in the 80’s.

The Pentagon claims that only on occasion were the results of remote viewing and other similar projects used in decision making at the top level. The projects received the highest level of support and they claim some remarkable psychic achievements in locating Soviet Submarines, Nuclear Research installations and even locating Hostages in the Middle East. There was never a shortage of volunteers for this paranormal duty.

Major Ed Dames says that he trained people from different agencies and apparently they were satisfied because they kept coming back! Agencies like CIA, FBI, Defense Intelligence Agency, Navy, Air Force and the Drug Enforcement Agency. Dames claims they are happy customers of the psychic training, and would not keep coming back if they did not receive something useful.

The program developed to the point where the coordinates were not even given to the psychics, and it did not matter, they still got it right. The coordinates were more a formality which was done away with, because the psychics "knew" what the targets were with out any clues. The nature of the project began to expand beyond remote viewing to include other psychic abilities.

Major Ed Thompson US Army left the project in 1981, but the main supporter was:

Major General Albert Stubblebine.

Major General Stubblebine was enthusiastic about the project and its expansion. Head of Armies Intelligence and Securities. He did experiments with his senior officers to attempt to bend spoons with psychic power. He received the nickname of "Spoonbender" as a result.

Colonel John Alexander was a staff officer close to Major General Stubblebine during this time.

Colonel John Alexander - US Army Intelligence and Security Command, 1982-1984… tells of a meeting with Major General Stubblebine and about 30 Generals and high ranking men, in which all were attempting to bend cutlery (Psychokinesis). Alexander has 2 forks that were identical, until an interesting event occurred. One of the untrained individuals in the meeting held up a fork and in the plain view of everyone, one fork simply bent to a 90 degree angle, then it returned to an upright position, then bent again to a position of about 45 degrees and it remained there! He held up the actual fork for the TV camera and showed it bent.

This occurred in the presence of Top Level Military men, and witnessed by many qualified observers. It occurred in plain view of all. This is a fact and Colonel John Alexander appeared on TV with this story and with the forks, one of which was bent and showed to the TV camera.

When Colonel John Alexander was asked the question, "What are you going to do, try to bend tank barrels?" he said, "No, that’s ridiculous, but we do think we can impact electronics, and things of that nature." He goes on to say that instead of trying to move large mass of matter, we are just dealing with electrons.

Major General Stubblebine felt that confronting his officers to the paranormal would keep them intellectually on their toes, and shake up their world views. But it was having a deep impact on everyone exposed to the reality of the paranormal. Suddenly the mundane things of life seemed so unimportant when the foundations of reality (or what was perceived as reality) are shaken.

The reality of the psychic phenomena in "Remote Viewing" and now in "Spoon Bending" was enough to cause great interest from the CIA & DIA in particular. The project became known as Star Gate. From this point on the facts become unclear because of so much denial by CIA and DIA of their involvement.

There was a shake up in the hierarchy and the psychics did not like the changes the programs were going through. There were some who left the military and began researching on their own.

Major General Stubblebine resigned in 1984, in part because of pressure that he had gone too far in this psychic research. The project was taken over totally by the Defense Intelligence Agency and out of the Army (who had overseen the project since 1972.

The DIA explored all forms of psychic abilities, with a less structured approach. The Navy began its independent psychic research, as well as the Army, CIA, DEA, FBI and others. Various code names from the different groups were GRILL FLAME, CENTER LANE, and STARGATE. The CIA had a research project code named SCANATE.

Major Ed Dames used remote viewing to attempt to locate the Ark of the Covenant, Noah’s Ark and UFO’s. He said that he could not give the information to his superiors because of reprisals for searching for such non authorized things. He did not say where they were but implied they knew.

In the 1980’s the Pentagon began to scrutinize various groups like the remote viewers. The Secretary of Defense Carlucci (Sp?), sent an inspector general team to examine the remote viewing project operations. They burned and shredded all the documents of the years of study. Major Ed Dames says they literally burned up 2 paper shredders destroying the remote viewing project data. Why would the Pentagon and the Secretary of Defense do that?

With support from congress the Remote Viewing Project survived and it was used in locating SCUD missiles in the Gulf War, as well as other intelligence targets.

The DIA claimed that it no longer wanted the project. In 1995 the congress transferred the project to the CIA. The official stand is that the CIA did not want the remote viewing project. The CIA claimed to have shut the project down. What a laugh.

Admiral Stansfield Turner, Director CIA, 1977-1981, denies the use of parapsychology in intelligence gathering in the future, he says it has no role.

Major Ed Thompson...says there is a need for the parapsychic and it works, there is something to it, and we need to keep developing it.

According to the CIA, they will only use psychics occasionally as private contractors and not as govt. employees.

Major General Ed Thompson left the Army in 1985 and is retired in Maine

Dr Hal Putoff left Stanford Research Institute in 1985. He is an internationally known theoretical physicist in Texas.

Ingo Swann left the remote viewing project in 1988 and lives in Manhattan.

Major General Stubblebine lives in New York with his new wife, a psychiatrist that claims to have been abducted by a UFO.

General Ed Dames left the Army in 1991. He lives in Beverly Hills and plans to open a remote viewing center in Hawaii.

It is my opinion that the CIA is currently and clandestinely developing the psychic abilities, and may even be keeping the results from Washington as well as the public.

SEERS

2 Samuel 24:11
For when David was up in the morning, the word of the LORD came unto the prophet Gad, David's SEER, saying, (KJV)

1 Chronicles 29:29
Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Samuel the SEER, and in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the SEER, (KJV)

Amos 7:12
Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou SEER, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there: (KJV)

God has his SEERS too! This is not a new idea at all. The Lord always gave his people warning through the Prophets and the SEERS. There was always a confrontation between the powers of the false prophets and the powers of God’s prophets. God always wins.

Therefore we can expect God to raise up some SEERS in this day. These SEERS will describe in detail what is to come. John was a SEER and he wrote Revelation. Today the SEERS will clearly have spiritual eyes to SEE as well as Spiritual ears to Hear. The Mind of Christ or the Godconscious Mind is within each one of us. The Sons of God will also have the ability to use 100% of the power in the subconscious mind, like Jesus did. Some will become SEERS, why not you?

Remote viewing is total BS. If anybody truly has the ability, they should apply for the James Randi Foundation million dollar challenge, http://www.randi.org/site/index.php/1m-challenge.html

I'd also recommend looking at these videos(just a word of warning - if profanity offends you, don't watch these).

I also posted some information on Ingo Swann, and I am gonna start by reposting that as well, so here it is ... found at:
http://www.irva.org/conferences/speakers/swann.html
It had a really neat picture of him when he was younger, but I couldn't get that to repost, so go take a look for yourself, and here is that article.

Ingo Swann was the discoverer and original developer of the remote viewing protocol. Already a widely-collected artist and an accomplished intuitive, Mr. Swann remote viewed the interior workings of a sophisticated quark detector in the physics department at Stanford University, the report of which attracted the interest of the CIA and led to the founding of the consciousness research program at SRI-International from which the military remote viewing program later sprang. Mr. Swann worked with Dr. Harold Puthoff at the SRI lab to create controlled remote viewing (CRV), which provides the foundation for the majority of remote viewing methods in use today, none of which has been able thus far to surpass it in effectiveness.

Detailed Biography:
Science felt a small ripple when, in 1973, a parapsychologist Dr. Gertrude Schmeidler reported the extraordinary success, the first of its kind, of a mind-over-matter experiment. Ingo Swann, using only his mind, repeatedly had been able to cause controlled temperature changes in a sealed, distant vacuum. It could now be seen that the human mind was capable of extending its powers beyond the confines of the brain.

Time (4/23/73) wondered if Swann's powers were more dangerous than the atomic bomb. The Smithsonian (6/73) speculated on the source of Swann's talents when it reported that, at Stanford University, he had "apparently altered the performance of a deeply buried, heavily shielded magnetometer for 30-second periods through use of PK, and by the 'looking into' the device and describing its mechanisms." Horizon (Winter/74), Time (3/4/74), and Newsweek (3/4/74) surmised that Swann's lab-confirmed PK and clairvoyant powers required a rethinking concerning the importance of psychic giftedness.

After 1974, Swann's participation in research became more vigorous. He became an intensively studied guinea pig at the famous think-tank, Stanford Research Institute, and worked with dozens of other researchers in the U.S. and Europe. John Wilhelm, in his 1976 book, The Search for Superman, indicated that "Ingo Swann flies straight out of Star Maker...His results are remarkable." In Germany, Esotera (12/12/76) termed Swann the foremost superpsychic of PSI research in American. The Readers' Digest (9/77) reported that recent research confirmed that Swann, in remote-viewing experiments, could "go" to any spot in the globe and sketch correctly roads and buildings just as they are at that point.

McCalls wondered if Swann's abilities could be used for psychic spying, as did The San Francisco Examiner (2/10/77), The Washington Post (9/7/77), and columnist Jack Anderson writing about the ESP Gap between the U.S. and the U.S.S.R. New Times (3/3/78) speculated that Swann had become a psychic superweapon. In November 1978, Swann was the featured banquet speaker at the annual meeting of the U.S. Army Material Systems Analysis Activity. After 1978, although extensive publicity continued, Swann's ongoing work became shrouded in a cloak of secrecy.

In 1987, Swann published Natural ESP: A Layman's Guide to Unlocking the Extra-Sensory Powers of the Mind, a Bantam New Age Book. His prior books are:

■To Kiss Earth Good-bye (Hawthorne, 1974);
■Cosmic Art (Hawthorne, 1975);
■Star Fire (Dell, 1978).<
He has published articles on psychic abilities, visionary art, and consciousness research. In 1988, he completed a tour of lectures in Germany and Canada, with essays appearing in Italy, France, and Germany.

Born in the Colorado Rockies, 14 September 1933, Swann earned in 1955 a B.A. degree in biology after which, in Korea, he served on the staff of the Commander of the Pacific Forces, Gen. I.D. White. In 1958, he accepted a position at the United Nations where he worked in varying capacities until 1969. In 1970, he entered full-time parapsychological and psychoenergetics research, becoming an acknowledged, innovative researcher in these frontier sciences. Swann is also an artist of some renown, his works having been collected by the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum.

Today, Ingo Swann is internationally known as an advocate and researcher of the exceptional powers of the human mind, and as a leading figure in governmental and scientific projects to investigate and identify the scope of subtle human perceptions.

Since 1970, his name and work have been incorporated into most contemporary books about PSI and the paranormal.

He was featured in four volumes of Time-Life's best-selling series entitled Mysteries of the Unknown. His contributive work has achieved broad media notice. Featured in every major American/British television documentary on the subject of PSI phenomena and Remote Viewing, Swann has been interviewed and/or profiled in dozens of magazines, including Time, Reader's Digest, Smithsonian, and Newsweek.

Swann's early work in parapsychology, as a noted and highly successful guinea pig, made him a psychic superstar in that field. His subsequent research on behalf of American intelligence interest, including that of the CIA, earned him top PSI-spy status.

His involvement in government research projects required the discovery of innovative approaches toward the actual realizing of subtle human energies. He views PSI powers as only parts of the larger spectrum of human sensing systems.

As advances are made in mapping the human genome, in genetic manipulation, in cybernetic mind-machine interfaces, and in the invention of increasingly smart machines, he predicts that broad strategic interest in exceptional human powers will emerge as a matter of operational importance.

Swann is the author of eleven books. Some have been translated into German, Polish, Dutch, Japanese, Turkish, and French.

Via the Internet and his award-winning website www.biomindsuperpowers.com, the larger scope of Swann's past and ongoing work continues to achieve international attention.

Well, I went to the website listed above ... it is awesome. It comes up with a picture, and you click on it to enter the site. It has all kinds of papers that he has worked on with tons of information. That is just something that you have to read for yourselves, but if you are like me, you will find it facinating.

I also came across a series of YouTubes that he did from the 2006 Remote Viewers Convention, so I will post them below. Keep in mind, the man is in his 70's so he doesn't talk at 90 miles an hour, but the content of what he is saying is awesome ... he is a teacher, so listen and learn. Just be patient, because he does tie it all together, and he brings up a lot of information concerning other aspects of the superpowers each and every person carries with them. Do you ever wonder why people have such a hard time understanding the superpowers of the mind and accepting what the mind is capable of ... well, give him a listen, cause I think he clears it up pretty well! I particularly like the fact that he has a good sense of humor, so here are the videos:

Ingo Swann 2006 International R V Association p5 FULL

Ingo Swann 2006 International R V Association p6 FULL

I was also facinated to see how many books he has written. One in particular caught my attention, because it was about Extraterrestials, and the name of the book is, "Penetration". I did a google search for it, but it is no longer in print, and the few copies I did find were on Amazon and eBay selling for about $250.00 each. That was a bummer, but then I came across a site that has all kinds of books in PDF format, and low and behold, there was the book that I had been searching for. I started reading it this afternoon, and I couldn't put it down ... have gotten through about 75 of the 143 pages already ... facinating reading. Do you wonder if ET is really here? Well, you have seen this man's credentials, so find out what he says. The book is here:
http://www.thelivingmoon.com/44cosmi...Ingo_Swann.pdf

I hope to add more later tonight or tomorrow. In the meantime, I know a couple of folks on here have experience with Remote Viewing, so I hope that maybe they will chime into this discussion. Just don't be intimidated by those who you know are probably gonna say ill tempered things ... people have a habit of putting down things they don't understand, especially when they are afraid to learn the truth ... or too self-absorbed to look for it ... either way, don't let them silence your voice! The truth is out there ... don't be afraid to look for it!

Wow, that was quick ... it is almost like you knew just where to find something that would criticise the subject ... almost like you didn't even have to look for it. I wish I could find information that rapidly, but I have to actually listen to the stuff before I know what is in it.

At any rate, if I understand you correctly, you are saying that this government, along with the Russian and Chinese governments, spent millions and millions of dollars researching something that doesn't exist? Have you ever heard of counter-intelligence?

Let me ask you ... what kind of problems would the government have if the citizens of the world learned how to access hidden information? Can you see any reason the government would fear this? Can you think of any reason they would put out information that would discourage people from even looking into it?

These abilities have been around for thousands of years ... there are large amounts of information written in Sanskrit detailing just these things. I hate to burst your bubble, but the peoples of the world and over the centuries have known about this type of thing for thousands of years. It has only been in the last hundred or so years that people started to dispute their existance, and so you have to ask why?

Have you ever seen some of the very old martial art masters who are blind and yet get around like they have eyes to see? Wonder how they do that?

One of the major points that Mr. Swann makes is the fact that they keep trying to measure these abilities in a scientific way, but scientific methods are only able to measure material things. There IS NO SCIENTIFIC TEST that is able to measure consciousness. We can't even define what consciousness is, so please tell me how they know what it is capable of? What test did they use to guage what the mind is capable of?

If you were to listen to the videos that Mr. Swann is featured on, you might learn some very interesting scientific breakthroughs that are lending total support to what the man is saying. And these are scientifically proven, major breakthroughs that he is talking about. It just might give you some food to think about.

Still, I will understand if you aren't interested in possibly learning something that might change how you have to think about things, so if you are uncomfortable with this kind of information, I understand, and feel free to move on to another thread.

Wow, what insight you have. It amazes me that someone of your caliber has nothing more earth shattering to do tonight than post such crap on the internet. Stick to your belief that anything you can't understand must be BS otherwise you'd get it. I'd write more about what RV is and how it works and has worked for centuries but I'm sure it would confuse you and make your head hurt.
Graywolf....Keep telling them the truth and ignore the close minded morons. If you really want to stir him up tell him that thing the Wright Brothers were working actually flew.

I hate to break it to you, but what you are describing is called a "telepathic overlay". It means you have missed the target, and are picking up images from someone else's thoughts. I know this because this lady has NO tatoos! ... unless you are seeing my other half ... who is a male, but hopefully you would have noticed the difference. At any rate, he doesn't think it is funny, and he says if he catches you watching him, it is gonna get ugly!

He saw this post coming in vision he had from the future, and also happened to be a Showtime subscriber.

Yes, thats exactly what hes saying. If this stuff really worked then we woulda found those pesky WMD's, or Osama, etc, etc, etc. Its a fleeting dream. Of course we had to be sure of it though.

Lol really? That would be right around the time we stopped burning people for being witches, science started to grow exponentially, the world entered the industrial age. All that reason and understanding stuff started to take over.

No but I would love to read this story if you could put a link with it.

Sure there is, take ANY of these guys, put them in a room, and ask them to describe whats in another room. Ill bet you they cant, 100% of the time as long as there is no funny business.

Sorry to take the wind out of your sails, but this stuff is just ridiculous.

I have standard answers when I deal with ESP BS. The James Randi challenge is one and a 5 second consultation with google gave me the link. The other one that I use when people ask me about this junk is Jay Leno's quote that he's waiting to read the headline "Psychic Wins Lottery". The Penn and Teller videos are classic debunking ones and again another 5 second search of youtube found those.

Yes, our government foolishly wasted money on this nonsense. They also shut the program down and if you watched the videos I posted you would get a good idea why.

That would be a big problem. Fortunately, it's not going to happen with remote viewing. If it could happen that way, why spend 10s of billions of dollars on the CIA, NSA, and the other 3 letter government agencies? Why do spies still exist?

Just because something is old and written a long time ago does not imply it's true.

How do magician's do that today?

Sorry, but this sounds like a bunch of new age nonsense. You started by discussing remote viewing, which to be valid has to be tested. If it can't be tested, it's not science. They have done scientific tests on ESP and the conclusion is that it's nonsense. Again, watch the videos I posted.

You just stated that there is no scientific test to measure what this guy is doing and now you state that there are scientific breakthroughs to support what the guy is saying. So which is it? I'd love to see a list of what these breakthroughs are. I'm going to be polite and not quote what Neil deGrasse Tyson says about "scientific breakthroughs" proving some type of stuff like this.

Believe me, I would be thrilled to learn if remote viewing was true. We could then shut down the CIA, NSA, etc and save billions of dollars a year. As magicians demonstrate, all of these tricks can be performed without any psychic powers. When psychics do them and claim they are true, that's when I get irritated.

Hey Goosed, you don't bother me a bit. You are speaking and believing the things that you have read in the press, and I am speaking about things I have seen work. Maybe if I had spent my whole life unaware of these things, I might find myself in the same boat as you. Fortunately, I have spent most of my life around these kinds of things, and I have seen a lot of it first hand, so my perspective is different from yours.

To quote Shakespeare: There are more things in heaven and earth, Horacio, than are dreamt of in your philosophies!

And by the way ... we did find the WMD's in Iraq, but Congress fiddle-farted around so long that they were moved to Syria. Wanna know where? And Osama never existed ... he was a CIA operative that they cooked up, because they needed an enemy ... the CIA couldn't tell the American people that the Taliban was cutting off the poppy growing income. They needed a reason to go in and stop them ... enter Osama and Al Qaeda! Google, "Al Qaeda never existed, CIA created", because the CIA admitted it!

No problem ... if there is one thing I love, it is stirring the pot when things get dull! It is so much fun to watch narrow minded people who believe all the propaganda the government pumps out, trying to dispute stuff without even hearing what they are trying to dispute. If they bothered to listed to the videos Mr. Swann did, they would see that he includes many articles, which he shows you, from prestigious scientific and medical journals that totally support what he is saying, but that would mean going against preconceived beliefs, and some folks still want to argue that the world is flat! To quote the Galaxy Quest spoof movie, I find them to be "plucky comic relief"!

Especially if you're blind huh?

Actually your eyes have powers you would not believe.
They are connected to your spiritual body and in effect have no real limits other than the ones you place upon them. Blinders anyone?

When I was 9 or 10, I remember we had a horsehair couch I sat on one morning & I was very calmly just gazing towards the window where light was streaming through the screen.
No one was around & it was very quiet and peaceful & I was enjoying the simple warmth of a morning. I had glasses probably at least a couple years already and if I recall correctly I was not wearing them.
I let my focus or my concentration go (my thoughts) and was just enjoying the light itself when I somehow zoomed in on a single square of the screen in the window about 18ft away.
The square I had 'focused' on was large enough for me to see every single apsect of it (imagine a quarter inch size from 20 ft). I felt like a fly and I could actually move on the screen and then I realized that I had missed the memo on bionic eyesight. This startled me just enough to resume my internal dialog which also caused me to lose focus and my sight returned to normal.
I guess most of us missed that memo eh?

I think graywolf is referring to the 3rd eye of your higher spiritual self.

Give the man an A+.

I am starting to learn about the Sanskrit writings that influenced those of ancient India. The levels of consciousness. They are called "loka" or "lokas", which translates into "world". There are many levels depending on the teacher you are following. Each Loka has a prefix word defines which world you are talking about.

Bhur Loka - the dominant consciousness is that of matter. ... Bhur Loka is purely material things.

Bhuva Loka - which is the desire realm, the things we dream of and want.

There is a third realm included with the other two called "the realm of the entangled mind"

Svah Loka - is the world of pure light. This is the psychic state or plane. It is where the intuitional is found, where the akashic plane is located with all information past, present and future.

Maha loka - the realm of vast infinity.

There are others above this, but for our purposes, we are talking about the plane of pure light where the consciousness is opened up and the minds abilities are released.

Scientists with their limited knowledge has studied brain waves of human beings. They have studied people who can control their consciousness to bring their heart and respiration down very low. They have documented cases where some little person lifted thousands of pounds off of another human being in a crisis situation ... what did that person tap into to get the strength to accomplish a feat like that?

Uri Gheller is many times thought of as just a magician, and he did use his "talents" in that way, but he was also tested by the Stanford Research Institute (who incidentally also worked with Ingo Swann for a lot of years), and if you are interested in the scientific test results, performed under labratory conditions, go here:
http://site.uri-geller.com/remote_pe...arch_institute

Scientist have just come to realize that a huge part of the brain, about half of it, that they thought was only used to supply food and nutrients to the rest of the brain, was in fact capable of incredible things. That it was actually a thinking, sensing part of the consciousness. Imagine that ... scientists missed half of the brain ... and it's function. Wonder what else they missed. Want to know more ... listen to the videos I posted on Ingo Swann ... it is toward the end. He also talks about some research they are doing with primates on telepathy and the exact brainwaves manifesting in two different animals while it was taking place. Facinating stuff!

People think we are so smart now with all of our scientific knowledge. They made brass 4000 years ago that was better than anything we can produce today, and we can't figure out how they did it. They built pyramids, and we are just beginning to think we might have figured out how. The Nazca Lines are a series of ancient geoglyphs located in the Nazca Desert of Peru ... some are 660 feet in size ... how do you suppose people designed them with no high ground to see them from ... they are done on a flat plain. Just because something was accomplished or known a few thousand years ago, doesn't mean that they didn't know things we have totally lost with all of our "modern technology".

Scientists can't even tell you why the brain works, let along how it works. They know stuff about it, but they don't know how it does what it does. Is it so hard to believe that there is a lot of other things theses brilliant scientists haven't figured out?

Mr. Swann likens the human brain to a computer. A computer has many abilities depending on the software that is installed. If we do not have the correct program running, we cannot access the superpower abilites that everyone has. We occasionally have spontaneous occurances, but training is necessary to achieve the controlled results. The training establishes the software system we use to work through.

Let's clear up a few things. First the Standford Research Institute(now known as SRI) is not a part of Stanford and hasn't been since 1970. They have done psychic experiments which have been criticized for numerous procedural errors and experimenter bias. The biggest problem with claiming that he passed on "laboratory conditions" is that if that were the case, those experiments would be reproducible elsewhere. This is a key requirement for scientific experiments. However, under carefully controlled conditions elsewhere, they have not been. This was essentially the same problem that was demonstrated by cold fusion claims about 20 years ago. Again, I would urge anybody who has passed under their "laboratory conditions" to go and apply for the James Randi Foundation's million dollar challenge.

Second, Uri Geller has been debunked numerous times. This video shows how a magician can easily reproduce what he does without any "psychic" powers. It also has part of his famous failure on "The Tonight Show".

A few years ago my son and I were driving by a auto shop that had a chain-link fence around it. When my son saw it he said he had a dream a 'black car' drove through that fence. I laughed and no big deal. A few days later there was a pic in the newspaper of an old lady that had a seizure and drove her black suv through the fence at the auto shop. I can't explain that, nobody can.

I think 99.9% of remote viewing is BS. I also think through some form or another humans can blip into the future. I don't mess with the RV stuff because one can never be sure who or what is giving them info. I do, however, think that humans are capable of more than just the basic senses.

The James Randy thing is outrageous. He follows the principle that anything has to be repeated 100 times with the same results to qualify for any of the reward.

The Uk Psychic Rsearch Society has run such tests numerous times, and has plentiful positive results.

Remote viewing isnt very hard, but it does take a long time to learn.

Science is repeatable

Also, would a Psychic Research society say "Well sorry guys, we were full of crap apparently." I doubt it when you're so vested in the claim.

Outside research groups like the J-ref are key to really seperating crap from fact.
