Got to chat with one of the designers/builders of the PakRifle some time back, the domain name is up for sale so I can't say where it's gone as such but sent off an e-mail as it's an interesting concept rifle.

That has got to be one of the neatest things I have ever seen, especially with the fishing pole add-on.

"What a fantastic way to backcountry hunt"....

He said it. Very very practical. Look at that grouse.
Looks like it doubles as a fishing rod too!

Heck, I thought they were in jail!
The habitat appearance places the grouse out of season, and the .22 regardless of cartridge isn't legal there for grouse.
Other than that; its a zip gun. Made one from an old pellet rifle barrel once. Its amazing what a BB can penetrate when launched with a .22 blank.

A laser? They just had to do it. *sigh*

I like the concept but not the execution. Also spendy, but being handmade will do that. I didn't realize they had a fishing pole option until I saw it mentioned here. Now that I like! I'd like to try one out sometime. I'm curious about the trigger and sights. If it's a decent shooter, it might be worth the cost.

Have you really looked at the Crickett or Chipmunk? Pass.
The Marlin Youth rifle is a hundred times better and not that much more expensive.

Bet your 'zip-gun' didn't have a carbon-fiber barrel or precision machining.
And speaking about illegalities, firearms manufacture without a license?

And while I'd rather the gun have a trigger guard, for something I'm not going to carry around chamber loaded, it's not truly needed.

Yup I was a minor. Probably raised like those sods, to ignore hunting seasons & such.
My Bro said it was out of season & with an illegal arm/caliber. I couldn't verify since MT's G&F website is just as messed up as ours.

as long as you are makeing it for your self, you don't need a license. if you are makeing guns with the intent to sell, then you do.

Yes. My daughter has one. Did not pass.

How about I buy a Chipmunk, a 10/22 AND ammo for the price of this gun?
