Default Deer lease in Southeast Texas looking for members

If you live in the Southeast Texas (Jasper, Newton) area, and if your looking to get on a lease - either post a reply to this thread, or send me a private message.

Cost - $900 for a full year
Off deer season - access to over 5,000 acres
During deer season - each person has their area to hunt on, which equals to about 100 acres
Location - about 15 miles north of Jasper, Texas, 75951 zip code, off county road 232.

You get full use of the lease during non-deer hunting season. That means you get to hog hunting, hiking, camping, dove hunting, squirrel hunting, on about 5,000 acres. The area is covered with pine trees, oak trees, hills and streams. Its beautiful country - at least to me anyway.

On a personal note, this is where I take my kids hunting, hiking and camping.

Hello Kev, I'm interested in this, but I had a few questions. I've never been on a lease before so I'm unsure how this works. Is there some sort of contract involved? How long are the contracts if so? Is there a limit to how many people will be allowed on here at any given time?

Who actually owns the land?

The actual owner of that land is a timber company.

I dont think there is a contract. You pay to get to use the land.

Please tell me what you are offering on your lease. Or, if it is not you that is offering it, if you would please let me know who I need to contact regarding it.

I need the full cost (including kill fees, hook up fees, et.al.). I have children and am looking for a SAFE and clean environment to take them.

We’d be interested in deer, turkey, hog, dove, & other small game; in that order.

Thank you
