Long book, decent read, looks like a wanna The Stand.

This book is character driven, so the hook is there. I generally allow myself to get sucked into the poetic license allowed writers, but this was over the top for me.

Poorly written: a major character is just dropped. A sure sign that the author ran out of steam and couldn't pull all his ends together.

Lots of good books out there for you, this isn't one.

The book was so long, and the print was so small that I just gave up. Plus, I couldn't stand half the characters!

Just shows how opinions differ. I read it and thought it was better than The Stand One man's good book is another man's toilet paper.

Recently finished it. It's a long read and some parts can get a bit dry, but overall really enjoyed the book.

One of my all time favorites..... I liked it better than The Stand.. I know its an older thread but wanted to give it my thumbs up....
