Purchase request for firearms for the IRS and the Dept. of Education
Moderators, I feel that the following is directly related preparedness and survival. It is my hope that you will leave it in this part of the forum where more members visit and can read it. If you move it elsewhere, I understand. Thanks.
Here are two stories, with factual info and direct links to purchase request for firearms for the IRS and the Dept. of Education. They should give anyone that reads them great concern about what is really going on in our Republic, They both gave me pause, and also let me know that our government and it's Departments, are increasingly threatening the citizens of our Republic. The condition of our Republic is a grave one. What you will read below is partly why I prep and prepare. The IRS is buying itself some new toys... This story is straight from the Department of the Treasury. It's also directly from their website. It rings of, "Pay your taxes or else!" Have a look-see. Here's a snippet. "The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to purchase sixty Remington Model 870 Police RAMAC #24587 12 gauge pump-action shotguns for the Criminal Investigation Division. The Remington parkerized shotguns, with fourteen inch barrel, modified choke, Wilson Combat Ghost Ring rear sight and XS4 Contour Bead front sight, Knoxx Reduced Recoil Adjustable Stock, and Speedfeed ribbed black forend, are designated as the only shotguns authorized for IRS duty based on compatibility with IRS existing shotgun inventory, certified armorer and combat training and protocol, maintenance, and parts" https://www.fbo.gov/index?s=opportun...&cck=1&au=&ck= And then there's this. Why does Department of Education need 12-gauge shotguns? Below is a quote. The link to the story is below it. And also a link the leads directly to the purchase request. Think people. Why would the Dept. of Education need 12-gauge shotguns? "The U.S. Department of Education (ED) intends to purchase twenty-seven (27) REMINGTON BRAND MODEL 870 POLICE 12/14P MOD GRWC XS4 KXCS SF. RAMAC #24587 GAUGE: 12 BARREL: 14" - PARKERIZED CHOKE: MODIFIED SIGHTS: GHOST RING REAR WILSON COMBAT; FRONT - XS CONTOUR BEAD SIGHT STOCK: KNOXX REDUCE RECOIL ADJUSTABLE STOCK FORE-END: SPEEDFEED SPORT-SOLID - 14" LOP are designated as the only shotguns authorized for ED based on compatibility with ED existing shotgun inventory, certified armor and combat training and protocol, maintenance, and parts. The required date of delivery is March 22, 2010." Yeah, the IRS has always had an armed enforcement branch; you'll note they talk about 'existing shotgun inventory'. That's because sometimes their agents go into situations where people might shoot them, and they want their guys to be able to shoot back. Sixty shotguns are hardly going to be an overwhelming force; especially in the hands of Federal agents. I gather that regular LEOs get nervous when they're paired with FBI, IRS, and most other Federal agents because the latter tend to lack street experience in handling guns and can be as big a danger to everyone around them as to the bad guys in a sudden crisis situation. Reference the number of times Feds have over-reacted and shot innocent people - or other LEOs - by mistake. It's only on TV that they look so good...
