Votes Democratic a lot.

24 out of 25 State Senators; 44 out of 51 State Representatives are all Democrats. The entire Congressional delegation are all Democrats.

Right you are! I'm on the big island near Hilo. Hey, at least you guys on Oahu have one or more shooting ranges to go to. Don't know about the Kona side, but on the Hilo side, we have one indoor 25 meter gun range, and a skeet shooting place in Hilo. I haven't shot one of my smokeless powder burners since before we moved here 4 years ago.
