I was thinking of maybe doing a field day or something. Exchange knowledge, Show and tell anything survival related. Maybe even some demonstrations of things. Like shelter building or what have you.

What better way to test your skills or learn something new. Maybe meet up at a public park area?

What's your thoughts?

Lol. I don't think anyone posts on here much. I'm in the Freeport, Brunswick area. Maybe spring or summer folks would be up to it.Idk?

I would! Sadly I worked...and I live up in Aroostook county. It certainly is more fun learning and practicing with other like minded people. Hopefully you'll get the chance to do so, Pinetreescent.

Wow, I don't know how I missed this OP.

I live in the Southern half of Maine, about 20 miles North of Bangor.

I am very active with MOFGA and doing the Common Ground Fair. There is one section of the fair focused on primitive skills. Maine Guides always have a bunch of demos going.

Also we have the Appleseed events every year, at each of the gun clubs. Does anyone compete?

The Maine militia is fairly active.

Most of the summer I am pretty busy, as an off-grid organic farmer.

I'm outside of Augusta and I own land in Aroostook. Just moved back from CO after being gone for 11 years.

I wouldn't mind hosting. I have thirty acres outside of August with different training areas, camp sites, and a small dojo for combatives.

I'd be interested in rubbing elbows with the neighbors "Down East". I've roamed around the mid coast area for years. Although I live in NH I love Maine.

( yes Forest. I know I missed MOFGA. Again)

Hi all,

Just found this thread. Sure, I'd be very interested in some sort of "get together" this 2017 Spring/Summer/Fall. I'm in SAGADAHOC County.
