I tried watching the first season, but lost interest after a couple of episodes. It was just scenes ripped out of other zombie movies. Maybe I should of stuck with it. Did I make a mistake?
Yes, the series is better and longer lasting than most zombie movies out there. They actually take up the time to build up a plot instead of just a straight action flick(which isn't always bad). Love the show can't wait for season 2.
Weird that I read this today (Friday). Last night I dreamed I was somewhere (couldn't identify the place) and there were zombies wandering around. No cars were running, and I was riding a horse named Morris and shining a flashlight ahead of us as we traveled. Definitely one of the craziest dreams I've ever had. It's time to lay off the zombie movies big time.
Can't wait for this season to start back up. After the first season I got hooked and read all of the comic books that the show was based off of. The comics are better plot-wise. But show is still great.
Great show can't wait for season 2. Looks like the stress is hitting them hard from the preview. Also like the fact how people actually get hurt or don't always have perfect luck.
I Love the show... but honestly I am not expecting that much from the second season. In case you haven't heard, the director was fired. Their budget was slashed significantly and they have episodes with various "guest directors".
Great Zombie show. A little slow on the action more heavy on the drama. The shows stands apart from other zombie entertainment because it focuses more on personal relationships, or others wise conflicts with in a group of survivors.
Read the comic as well. The comic is pretty good to if you like that sorta thing
That may not happen now that Frank Darabount is gone. Last year there was talk of Stephen King writing scripts and George Romero, and a few other horror directors taking a turn directing. Now that AMC fired Darabount they have managed to alienate much of the talent that Darabount attracted.
