I was looking for a prepper forum, a place to learn & discuss. I tried out several different ones but wasn't quite sold. My dad suggested I check out this one and I've been on here daily (or several times daily!) ever since.

I looked up Rocky Mountain Preppers and this was found. I need help with finding some things so I posted and I guess I joined the site. I don't think I will posting much of anything important because I am new. I just want to prepare for hunkering down in my house for a couple of weeks and then we will see how things go. I am middle aged and retired but still feel pretty young. Thanks

Was googling the name of a book (37 items that vanish first during a disaster) or something like that, saw a well-written, thorough review on this site, and decided it's a site I'd like to frequent.

Default How I found this site.

Doing a Google search took me to several prep and survival sights and the link for this site was on another sites list of recommended resource links.

Glad I followed the link and signed up after being a brief lurker.

Found this site when googling info on best survival blades, best survival guns, etc. kept coming back to this site. Decided to dig around and read some postings, liked what I read, and people were encouraged to keep it civil and polite. Seemed a genuine interest in helping others, so I finally joined.

Was interested in attempt to build a small forge for railroad spikes after seeing some amazing knifes and axe heads created from said spikes. Stumbled on this forum site, and was amazed at the amount of people geared towards survival and prepping. Was hard not to be addicted to this site, and coming from a pc gamer that back in the day spent 90% of his time on a forum site for the game i was playing at the time. This is right up my alley.
