I hate to say it for the millionth time, but left-right is part of the problem. It's divide-and-conquer. Rich/poor is real and objective, and while it would be great if they spared the middle-class, don't hold your breath. As I've written elsewhere, Obama will make "necessary concessions" to spare massive cuts to programs benefiting the poor, so he'll hike taxes equally on the middle-class and spare the rich to the greatest extent possible. He may claim a mandate from the middle-class, but it was the globalists that fund every winner.
