Password Safe from Sourceforge. 100% free. Remember one password, safe your password file in your Dropbox and BANG. You're in business. You can also set the program to remind you to change your passwords at an interval you choose. No password is the same, in fact I never use the same user name across sites either.

USe your full initals, an old phone number, and 2 or more keyboard symbols.
that will give you a 12 character password that will give fits to a dictionary attack.

I use a password generator the one in PC Tools web site. At this site you can generate a really strong password. Then just copy and paste it to the vault, have it open at the same time you create a new one. I also use it to create user names.

The vault I also use is CGPWord. It has no back door to it so if you forget your password to open it, well don't forget. The beauty is you just need to remember one user name and password. Everything else is cut & paste simple.

we have to change our passwords at work every 30 days. But we use can use pass phrases, a lot easier to remember. One guy uses album names from his collection...already has 100s of future passwords!
