Any canned fish. Anchovies, sardines, kippered herring, smoked oysters, etc. are available at most dollar stores (99 Cents Only, Big Lots, Dollar Tree, etc.) for very cheap. The cans are small and easy to carry.

SPAMŽ, as mentioned above. Jerky likewise.

Raisins and other dried fruit of all kinds. You do need to be drinking water, though, if you are relying on dried food.

Get one case of MREs for $75-100 and put three of them in each BOB/location.

You only need your BOB, GHB, GOOD or survival kit for 2-3 days. You should use that time to get to your home or BOL where other longterm supplies have been already set aside.
The civilian versions are lacking... in this case toilet paper and the flameless meal heaters. Most of the civilian versions don't have matches either. I don't care who people buy from, but the real deal genuine US military are the best MREs bar none.
