The current (sept) issue of the Mech Illustrated mag has a devoted a whole issue to the survival situation. Pick one up or thumb thur it at the supermarket.
also, Nat Gergraphy, has dovated the sept issue to survival and how to do stuff.
Is it just a coincidence that they are coming out together concerning survival and preparedness, or is it that someone is trying to tell us something is in the pipeline to happen.
Anyone else konw of any other monthly publications being out there about survival and prepping?
'backwoods home' magazine is a good solid publication.
it is primarily aimed at homesteaders, but has excellent firearms articles along with a wide spectrum of survival topics, weighed towards 'living off the land'.
they have years of back issues on cd's too. excellent stuff. http://www.backwoodshome.com/
No offence girl, but because you are reading stuff most ladies do not know about, are you sure you are a girl. How long have you been reading stuff like this.
Nice Mech, but those PPC's suck at point blank, and they generate way too much heat. And reloading the SRM/LRM racks without a support vehicle can bite too.:
Another + for The Backwoodsman. It is a great magazine for us on the cheap. Lots of homegrown stuff and none of the "you gotta spend mega $$$$$ on this item if you want to survive" articles.
Thanks, Stonecypher, for the URL. Also found '100 tasks every man should be able to do' and gave them crap for being sexist - every person should be able to do most or all of those things, like change a fan belt, diaper a baby, etc. Funny how they talk about surviving on the one hand but forget that 51% of the population needs the same skills that 'manly' men do.
